Warmer weather’s got me thinking, it’s time to put together a proper cruise. A pack of Blackwings through the hills would be a sight.

Plan is simple: First meet spot at College of San Mateo, run 35 down to Alice’s for the second meet spot, then cut across 84 to Hwy 1 and cruise the coast to lunch.

Meet-Up Spot #1
College of San Mateo — arrive at 8:00 AM, roll out at 8:30 AM toward Alice’s.

Route to Alice’s:
  • Hillsdale Blvd → 92 West
  • 92 West → Skyline Blvd / Hwy 35
  • Skyline Blvd / Hwy 35 → Alice’s Restaurant

Meet-Up Spot #2
Alice’s Restaurant (Woodside) — arrive around 9:00–9:15 AM, depart at 10:00 AM.

Route to Davenport:
  • La Honda Rd / Hwy 84 → Hwy 1
  • Hwy 1 South → Davenport Roadhouse

Final Stop
Davenport Roadhouse — ETA ~11:00 – 11:15 AM

After lunch, we can either head back north on Hwy 1 or split off toward Santa Cruz / Hwy 17.

Date: Saturday, April 18th (weather permitting)
Backup: Saturday, April 25th

If you’re in, drop your name + car and keep the list going:
  1. Alanera | 24' CT5-V Blackwing, Black Raven

2. Rajiv (so 650) | '23 4BW Sebring IMSA, Maverick Noir Frost. I'm supposed to be going to a conference at the Ritz in HMB on 4/18, so missing half the conference and heading there from Davenport sounds ideal.

I might be up for it if I'm in town that week. Hopefully that won't coincide with another 93F "spring" day...

If you join us you’ll have to tell me about your incoming e46. I had one back in the day, it is my favorite car of all time!

Will do! Next week I am planning to use a couple of my days off to start the parts removal. If I can get the gearbox out without much of an issue and all looks well, I'll be a happy camper! And I'll try to take a photo or too if my hands aren't covered in smelly ol dinosaur grease.
