CT5-V Auto Door Lock Disable

How the heck do I disable the doors from automatically locking when I drive away?

I know I have a setting where all doors auto unlock when in Park ... this is useful for those with an automatic but useless in the manual.

People keep trying to get into the car or try to open the trunk and they can't unless I hit the unlock button, and I'm not going to engage the parking brake every time I stop for a second to let someone in.

I've scrolled through all the vehicle settings with no luck.

Please don't make me RTFM.

What kind of Uber driver are you to lock out customers?

What can I say, I like to read. Unfortunately the 'Vehicle Personalization' reference only calls out the setting you described when in Park/Parking brake.

Wait until your car autolocks WITH the keys in it (yes, both and dont ask) and then can't talk to OnStar for remote unlock.

OnStar Solution: "Hey, lets just send a guy out to jimmy it and if you dont want to see that, we will flatbed it to the dealer so they can jimmy it while you arent watching"

Dealer Parts Dept Solution: "Uh, why don't you just let me cut you a key and manually open it?"

Couldn't open it with the OnStar/MyCadillac app??

Car is supposed to warn you & un-lock Driver Door, if you leave Fob in car.
Did that incident happen, with a CT4/5?

^ Wow, what a perfect storm….
Both Fobs in car and Antenna disconnected.

Did the battery really die and require recharging, before car could start?
or
Did the car just Shut Down Electrical Systems?

My alarm went off, for no reason (while car parked in driveway) and of course Onstar had no log of the event.
Would have been nice to know what triggered it : /
