V-Series Cadillac(s)?
2023 CT4-V Blackwing
Well, I’m back to Cadillac. I was here a few years ago when I had my 2023 CT4V Blackwing. I parted with the BW and modded a variety of cars along the way.

This past week, I sold my 2024 VW Golf R and purchased a 2026 Raven Black CT5V AWD with tech package and I’m really enjoying the luxury, cabin silence and smooth ride.

I’ll be scheduling some ceramic tint, PPF and ceramic coating soon and a I negotiated some Blizzak 6 (245/40/19) winter tires through the dealership I purchased from. Still about 250 miles away from this thing “unlocking”

What made you move to the CT5-V? How does it compare to the CT4-VBW?
As far as amenities, the new 2026 CT5V is incredible. Performance wise, the CT4V BW is going to be better. I haven’t reached the 500 mile unlock yet so I can’t offer a true comparison.

Both cars are excellent. I bought the CT5V as a luxury cruiser that happens to have some performance. I still plan on tweaking it a bit as I’m a tinkerer by nature.

There isn't any "unlock" at 500 miles that I know of (except for the tach redline change). And the misconception that 500 miles is the break-in, when it is really 1500.

I’m referring to the RPM range being limited

Yeah, it is just the red line indication only. It does not mean actual RPMs are actually limited. There are also steps of limited red line indications when the engine is cold.
