[TD]A vehicle may have a concern where the engine may shut off after wide open throttle maneuvers, and have an*SES lamp with**DTCs P0121, P2101 and P2119 set.

[TD]Cause
[/TD]
[TD]A*customer driving the vehicle aggressively*under track like conditions (quick WOT to 6000 rpm’s 2nd*gear, quickly followed by no throttle: on ramp acceleration and quick back-off into traffic), may experience engine cutoff and set DTCs P0121-00, P2101-00 and P2119-00 accompanied by engine shut down. Vehicle will re-start.

</dt> <dd>
Inspect the air filter for damage from being collapsed*shut*as shown below by filter #1.*

Replace the*air filter if it is incorrect

1. This is the incorrect air filter with no glue lines
   
2. This is the correct air filter with glue lines

Note: Technician must ensure that filter has glue lines (call out 2 above).



If this is encountered the air duct should be replaced with the air filter.*

When the air duct collapses it may come in contact with the*supercharger idler pulley*

Do not replace ECM, Throttle Body.
