Anyone had any luck with aftermarket wheels and snows yet? Can't find anything on Tire Rack or elsewhere, and Cadillac isn't even showing the OE wheels as available for purchase on their site. Getting a little nervous as we creep into October...
Found it, thanks! Would be nice if it was more customizable... Don't care for how it only shows the track title on SiriusXM and not the artist name. I'd gladly give up the redundant HVAC info at the top and the phone info at the bottom to get more media details.
If you check the owner's manual, there's a section about using them when towing or trailering the vehicle. Specifically says that you should keep them and use them when loading and unloading the car from a trailer. It's on page 394 of the 4's manual, not sure about the 5.
Seriously... When I picked up my Golf R, the dealership "washed" it for delivery and managed to grind sand into the passenger C pillar with a circular brush. If you're familiar with the Mk 7.5 Golf, you know how much surface area we're talking about... it was absolutely horrific. After some...
I'm getting the same thing about not being able to communicate with the transmission module. I wonder if Cadillac forgot to tell OnStar about the manuals...
Weird, mine won't give me diagnostic information... I assumed it would only show something if it threw a code. Mine is just gray and shows a "--" under the heading. Anything special you did to activate it? I did my OnStar activation call and signed up for service.
Seriously, mine only buzzes when I'm in parking situations, or one time when someone stopped short in front of me. I don't know what y'all are doing to trigger this thing all the time, but you should probably stop...
It wasn't anything specific, just something about "the IT department needed to do something" to release it. Sounds like it's just something wonky in GM's order system.
This is why I use Amex for everything. I've never had to actually use it, but usually the threat of "I guess I'll have to call Amex and contest the charge" greases the wheels to get most problems resolved. Yes, their fees are higher, but their customer service warrants it.
This got covered in an earlier thread, there's something the dealership has to do on their end to release the funds so they can be applied to the order. Your dealership probably just doesn't know how to do it. If you look back at your credit card statement, you'll see the charge had your...
It really does look awesome in person. If you do the Sky Cool Gray interior, you should definitely get the interior ceramic coating done as well. I already had an issue that I thought for sure was going to stain them, but I brought it back to the detailer and they were able to get it right out...
Thanks! It really turned out well. I've got the Sky Cool Gray interior with the red seat belts as well, so it looks pretty sharp.
Emerald Frost with bronze would look awesome, but the maintenance on the matte paint is tough. I'm not sure what the best option for calipers would be there... Red...
I'm a bit biased since I generally don't care for bronze wheels--a little too boy racer for me--so take this with a grain of salt... but my car is Shadow Metallic, and I really don't think bronze would work well with it, even if I did like it. Yes, the color is dark gray, but it carries...
