    2014 - 2016 Cadillac CTS-Vsport: Twin Turbocharged V6 Engine Sounds

So, that's how I would refer to it at the dealer?

Video: Roll Race – C6 Corvette ZR1 vs Cadillac CTS-V Wagon

Seems like all terms these days are getting "fuzzy" with the advent of amateur non fact checked dictionaries on the Internet. If the rear doors are "concealed", then it would still fit as a SB. The CTS wagon is marginal IMHO. It has the pitched rear end typical of SB, but not quite the 2 door...

    2014 - 2016 Cadillac CTS-Vsport: Twin Turbocharged V6 Engine Sounds

Is there a number or other reference for this bulletin?

It is British. Estate is a wagon. Shooting Brake is more like a 2 door wagon - Range Rover Evoque being the current example

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

Guess you didn't read the link above? The two work in totally different manners, and one generates DC (and doesn't need rectification), the other AC (and requires rectifiers)

... And also have to go back in time about 50 years to when they used generators. Modern cars use alternators, they work quite differently, specifically, the output is a lot more constant voltage with an alternator, which is critical with all the electronics in there. Alternator and Generator...

Those kinds of gains are not uncommon in modern engines, but most everyone's experience is not with direct injection, so we will have to see.

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

Between the cooling effect of the injection and the fact there just flat out isn't fuel in the cylinder (especially when combined with the purging effect of forced induction) in a direct injected engine, knock is near impossible. My original post said a different way, if your engine needs to be...

... Or you could open just about any thermodynamics textbook and learn what science has known for a couple hundred years now. Just about all factory tunes are rich, and just about all aftermarket tunes are leaner - that's where the power comes from in "high octane" and NA "tunes" From your...

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

Several years of study in compression engine thermodynamics says BS. You can't make more power by sending unburned fuel out the exhaust. If anything, you want to be slightly LEAN specifically to ensure that all the fuel gets burned. Tuners run rich NOT to make more power, but to deal with issues...

Lowering the air/fuel will not make more power. Max power is made at stoich. Want to make more power - need more air to burn more fuel, or increase the compression ratio - simple as that. Richening the mixture MAY allow for increased boost or timing due to lower EGT, and if so, that would...

A Little-V Blog: The ATS-V purchase and ownership experience

If one can forget to push the button, one can forget to turn the key ... I wonder how many cases of that never made the news... Frankly, I wonder if people who can't remember to turn the car off need to be driving in the first place ...

While I agree with you about the parking brake, I completely disagree about push button start, which has become a "must have" for me.

That's the part I didn't know - I assumed the clutches were inside the carrier and used the same gear oil.

What oil temps are you getting? I would think you would want a gear oil with the limited slip additive. I've always been a fan of Redline, especially the "shockproof" versions.

Warning! CTS V Wagon for an ATS V coupe!

Why not keep the V wagon and trade in the regular ATS on the ATS-V?

The VSport uses the Bose audio pilot to play ACTUAL engine sounds through the speakers depending on the mode selected. In Tour, it actually works as noise cancellation, Sport is slightly enhanced, and Track is significantly enhanced. This is much different than the BMW system that plays...

Exactly. I would also guess (some have even admitted it) that none of them take a few minutes to set up CUE how they would want it ... Or someone in the press junket did, and that's not how this reporter likes it.
