As far as I understand it…
Open trunk
Removed carpet from trunk panel
remove screws/clips from spoiler from this area
take some fishing line and use it to cut through adhesive that joins spoiler to trunk
clean residual adhesive
add adhesive to trunk (I understand its important to create a seal...
The EOS Splitter and wing are not bookmatched. This is where the carbon fiber meets in the middle creating the “V”. Some ppl don’t mind, some people are particular about that stuff. Up to you.
I got this one. Fits in the little umbrella compartment in the door for storage. Does a decent enough job.

Special shoutout to @MeGoFast with the ANC issue we'll all eventually face when adding an aftermarket Sub. Check out his thread if you're interested: 5V Blackwing Trunk/Sub Install
Over the weekend I went ahead and removed one of the ANC mic within the driver side headliner. This seems to have...
I actually considered this, but I’m not too familiar with free air subs. I know the OEM one does this and sounds pretty good, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess I just wanted a project that I’m more familiar with. I do hope someone does the free air thing and maybe this enclosure will go up for sale lol...
Just did this last night. You'll want to remove the grab handle and sun visor to have enough room to stick your hand in the headliner (unless you've got small hands maybe). Not sure if its working as intended as i havnt had a chance to drive around, but ill probably update my build thread.

After cutting the glass, i started layering in more fiberglass on the back of the enclosure. I forget how many layers i did, but made sure to make it about 3/4" thick.
After cutting excess and shaping the enclosure some more, i finally got started with the front and top. This was a bit tricky...
It’s not recommended to get different sized subs if they’ll be playing the same frequency range. If you go that route, you’ll probably want to run them off two different amps. Have one for lows and crossover to the other for mids
Wavtech was created by one of the engineers from alpine. The sub...
My build is with a 12” shallow sub. It’s also a bit oversized diameter wise but fits. I like how it sounds even before tuning. Can’t wait til it’s 100% done.
Previously I had 2 12s at about 500 watts and that was the best sounding system with aftermarket components all around. This one sub...
