    Your Blackwing in the snow

I am in Chicago not Colorado, and it snows here.

    Your Blackwing in the snow

I want All Season tires for a 24 and 26 CT5 B/W. I also want to stick with the OEM tire size. Would prefer a brand I am familiar with but as I am sure you know............ There are tires available but not any brands I know anything about. Some have many good ratings but this is internet info...

    A little out of proportion

That could be true but the rear tide is .4" smaller in diameter.

    A little out of proportion

Jbawden We have a Triple Black 2012 CTSV coupe that we were going to trade in but it is to PRETTY we kept it. I agree in some respects it is still the best looking.

    A little out of proportion

That's not a problem for me. Just back and fourth to work. I even run in Rain and Snow mode to dumb down the performance.

    A little out of proportion

That is quite a bit of a bigger 'Balgonie' but you are correct about the diameter difference between a 30 and 35. I will definitely keep it in mind.

    A little out of proportion

Thanks Todd I haven't had the time to do detailed measurement and the old bounce test but will keep this in mind. Are you running 19" rims?

    A little out of proportion

One thing has seemed a little odd when looking at my 2026 CTV5 Blackwing in profile. It kind of looks out of proportion, then I figured out what looks strange to me. The rear tires are smaller in diameter than the front tires. Now, I am sure the engineers and track people can explain in mind...

Absolute Dearth of All-Season Tires for CT5-V Blackwing

Be nice. You are both correct. However if you check with Walmart sometimes they offer an all season tire in the 305 30 19 size but it is Chinese

Absolute Dearth of All-Season Tires for CT5-V Blackwing

I am going to jump in here to rile up a bunch of people. I we two CT5 Blackwing's a 24 and a 26 because we like them. I don't care about performance but I wanted a V8 in a Cadillac sedan and I like the look. The only thing that seemed out of place is the fact that the front tires are larger in...

    CT5-V CT 5 Backwing tires

Thanks to all with the input. I took delivery on a 2025 CT5 Blackwing and made a decision on what to do. I have a 2012 CTS V with Goodyear Exhilarate tires on it and like them. I can get that tire in the B/W size to fit the front. On the back I used the 285 35 19 like the CTS V. It fits on the...

    Still want all-season tires

You could be correct, but I usually purchase the right vehicle [what I like] but for the wrong reason. This is the last of the good old American V8's. I grew up with them and you can keep all the cars out there now even the hi tech wonders but you can't beat the sound of a V8.

    Still want all-season tires

I can understand where you are coming from but I am not interested in performance. I dont want to have to change wheels and tires twice a year.

    CT5-V CT 5 Backwing tires

I took delivery of a CT5 Blackwing and have decided to purchase a set of wheels and tires for winter. I will keep the standard wheels and tires and run them as much as possible during most of the year. For winter running I would like to get a set of wheels and tires identical to what I have on...

Almost 30 days in service for electrical issue with no resolution - what's my recourse?

Your approach in calling a lawyer is correct. I had a new Chevrolet about 35 years ago that was back to the dealer 18 times with a very obvious engine stalling at highway speeds issues. GM will not through in the towel. They will try to wear you down.

    Still want all-season tires

After searching extensively I can not find all season tires for a 2024 CT5 Blackwing. I need them for occasional driving in Chicago winters. It occurs to me I have found all season tires for my 2011 CTS V, I guess I am old school because I like the looks of the proportions of this combination...
