GM Press Release: Introducing the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing

I saw this the other day. Gotta imagine a base 5BW will be just about $100k at this point.

Nice, congrats as well! I found mine at Ourisman Chevrolet in Rockville, MD. The initial in service date was 9/30/2022, purchased at Jim Coleman Cadillac in Bethesda, MD. Who did you work with? I still haven’t seen a 4BW or 5BW in the wild up here. Closest was a 5V!

A new competition for us all: Post your average lifetime RPM

Check out this creampuff! Lol I’m only accountable for 200/4,489 miles. 1,712.3 @ 37.7 mph if my math is correct.

    CT5-V 2023 CT5 Blackwing Engine Failure (Shavings)

Does anyone know how many manual vs autos have had engine failures? Obviously too small of a sample size to make a correlation, I’m just curious.

    CT5-V 2023 CT5 Blackwing Engine Failure (Shavings)

Just prepare a script and repeat it every time they try to convince you otherwise. “This repair goes beyond any reasonable expectation from what an owner can expect, and what a vehicle can potentially incur during the warranty period. The procedure is invasive, and will most likely have...

    2023 CT5 Blackwing engine failure

I just posted about this in a similar thread - initiate a buyback directly with GM. Bypass the dealer. They don’t care in this instance and they will not advocate for you, at all. Lemon Laws are for lawyers - you don’t need one. I have experience with a successful GM buyback on a three year...

    CT5-V 2023 CT5 Blackwing Engine Failure (Shavings)

I’m sorry to hear this. Bypass the dealer, go straight to GM and initiate a buyback. Be prepared to have the door shut in your face - don’t take no for an answer. Be persistent. I had a 2018 Bolt that had a recall on the battery where it couldn’t be charged past 80% for risk of a fire - no fix...

    used ct4 purchase - opinions

Keeping in mind what MSRP will be on a base '25 5BW, you're saving about $43K. Go for it, there's plenty of factory warranty left. The car may not be perfect cosmetically, so be ready to spend some $ getting it to where you want it to be. Edit -read *ready

That's cool, I'll definitely keep that in mind! Little League season is right around the corner, so my schedule is still up in the air.

Hey everyone! Where to start…so, I’ve had my eye on a one owner, low mileage, manual CT5-V Blackwing for a few months. Inventory has been scant, and the models I was interested in were more than I was willing to spend. Fast forward to last Monday AM. I see a used, one owner, manual, with...
