Nice car, nice color, nicely spec'd imo incl. PDR, 5000 miles. Great find. I noticed rear center red seat belts which is unusual.

There's the same black diamond tricoat treatment on our CT5-V Blackwing door/window switch cover plates. I bet some of y'all will need to change that to carbon too now that I've pointed it out, otherwise your feng shui will be off!!
Same height and family size here. CT4 won't work. I'm surprised you say the CT4 was only a bit tight. It was a total showstopper for us.

I just had to warranty this a couple months ago at 20K miles. No massage or adjustment. Seat bolster unit died. The local dealer knew exactly what it was and ordered parts before I got there with the car for R&R.
Cadillac marketing is struggling. I wish I could help.. I've been to a couple events and their swag and marketing vehicle choices have felt off. The last event I went to they had 2 bare minimum base model CT5-V Blackwings in white. Maybe to get those financially stretched into dealership doors...
Yes, normal near idle RPMs. Characteristic of the 6.2L. A cute GM quirk. You can also hear it on newer Escalades and Denalis starting and leaving parking lots.
Muffler replacement or catalytic converter replacement? What's the code?
There have been a few catalytic converter replacements w/in the forum, mine included. My cat failed due to a faulty spark plug in bank 1.
Several track days on my car. It eventually had misfire and cat codes. First, the bank 1 catalytic converter was replaced. Then, soon after, the same misfire and cat codes came back. This time it was troubleshot to to a bad spark plug on bank 1. All bank 1 spark plugs were replaced. 5k+ miles...
Welcome to regulatory uncertainty w/in the automotive business!! There are greenhouse gas requirements that are scheduled to implement while simultaneously being changed. The question becomes will the change(s) make it through in time or be held up in litigation long enough to force the product...
If you're looking for another perspective -
I'm 6'5" and put my front seat almost all the way back. Wife's 5'6" so had her seat back a bit too. When looking, we had two kids under 2 at the time which means reverse-facing car seats. Not possible for us in a CT4. Once the kids graduated to...
I have a friend w/ a bad leg that uses these door handle car latch assists: LINK. I know they work well with an Audi S4.
My dad struggles getting the door closed once in. He grasps for the door's A-frame. Haven't found a fix for that yet.
The side rear bumper bodylines are all over the place on CT4s and CT5s. I've seen your issue before, I've seen wavy top edges of the rear bumper, I've seen poor alignment to the trunk, and the arch not aligned between bumper and wheel well. Sometimes all of these issues together! Now that we're...
The OG trim is a fun little splash of black diamond tricoat for the rest of you that don't have that color option spec'd. Embrace the BDT! :)
The carbon does look good, but I'd want it real carbon vs. hydrographic or wrap. I think it does make a big difference on CT4. Less-so on CT5 w/ its...
Yes, I've noticed similar. Couple sets of tires now. Watch for signs of delamination or accelerated wear if you frequently use them in < 40 degF weather.
I keep spec'ing them though b/c they really are great tires.
Money’s on mucking about bc they can - you purchased out of state. Work with a different, local Cadillac dealer you love and trust for service. Check in with multiple dealers and parallel work this if you don’t have a relationship like this already - you’ll eventually build one.
Ah. I was soft wired using the cigarette lighter. The dimmers stopped working bc the sensor(s) were blocked. Good to hear you found a spot this doesn't happen!
