T-56's are notorious for cold shifting problems and a switch to better fluid will certainly help. I'm sure the TR-6060 is the same way, although no experience with them.
First car I bought with my own money was a 1984 Z28 HO 5spd. Here are the performance cars I've owned over the years.
1984 Z28
1985 Monte Carlo SS
1987 Grand National
1989 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am
1992 Dodge Spirit R/T
1996 Pontiac Formula WS6
2000 Camaro SS Conv
2004 Pontiac GTO
2004 Pontiac GTO...
All the normal stuff, heads, cam, suspension, etc. Both are stronger than the BW for now. One I've had since new and the other was from an original owner. They are both fun to drive but totally different from each other. It's a good change of pace swapping cars between the 3.
I went with a BW as I wanted something more than a 2 seater. It checks off quite a few boxes and goes nicely with the GTO's I have. Still a little slower than both 2004 GTO's but wouldn't take much to go right by them :)
Mine had 700 miles when I bought it. He wanted something bigger and got a CT5 Blackwing.
The owner of my GTO that I just got bought a CT5 Blackwing to replace the GTO. He had to trade it back in because the pedals were too close together for his prosthetic foot. He never had a problem with...
It's actually been one of the most trouble free cars I've owned. Nice riding and has every option except awd and sunroof. It does the job it's designed to do. Slow and reliable.
I leave the fun stuff to the Caddy and my GTO's ;)
I had this happen to me in my 17 Buick Encore last year. The calipers were frozen. Took a lot of throttle and after a couple of miles, freed up to normal. In my case it was the parking brake sticking. So now when it's cold, I don't use the parking brake anymore. Haven't had any issues since...
I installed mine. Went in easy except for being a contortionist to get it in. But it looks factory and nobody will probably ever notice it but it looks "finished" now.
Obviously not the beltway, that sucked and still does when I come back to visit. I'm talking about the backroads. AA county has a ton of them. Used to blast down to Annapolis to go to the Mall and then do the same on the way back. All back roads.
We have some good back roads here also...
So I've had my car for a few months and have been trying to get some decent launches in the car. So far the best I've done is 4.2 seconds 0-60 a few times. That is manually shifting the A10. If left in drive, 4.4 seems to be the best I can do with it as 1st seems to short shift. My car is...
