I imagine that boost pressure is being forced into the combustion chamber while the exhaust valves are closed… so the backpressure from the exhaust shouldnt have any bearing on how much resistance the SC sees. Its also driven from the crank so theres no variable in driving force there.

Never drove the ZL1 so have no idea how they compare. My Viper had much stiffer mounts from the factory and it was significantly stiffer than the 5BW. Yet many upgraded the factory ones in the Viper immediately.
Obviously its not that simple or cheap, did you give them a budget?
I guarantee you if you said I can spend 3-5K for a custom stainless exhaust theyd have it done in 3 days.
