You are correct. So the Cadillacs can be found for sale around the country and I have seen some from the ATS and CTS V days that weren't being sold with full disclosure of the lack of warranty on the engine and suspension. Apparently GM puts those cars out for auction. However the...
For grins I have a coast to coast search up on Autotrader for CT4-V BWs just to see what and where they are. Interestingly I have yet to see a 2023 with CF1 and CF2 packages unless it is one of the special track addition packages. Yet the first 2024 I see has both packages. I was a bit...
If you are worried what emissions are on it you need a picture of the emissions sticker under the hood. And for the past few years all cars have been delivered with both Federal and California emission compliance on the sticker no matter whether it was order for Federal or for Ca emissions. I...
And if you don't track the car this is the way to go particularly if you don't like brake dust. It is also the way the Camaro and Corvette C7Z06 go if they aren't tracking their cars. I resisted on my Z06 as I didn't want to put $80 worth of pads on my $110,000 car when it was new, so used the...
Someone else may have commented on this already as I am only on page 3 of this thread but changing pads only on our cars is ridiculously easy. I am old and lazy and I do it in two sessions. One for the fronts and one the next day for the rears, but it is less than 2 hours at my near 80 year...
There are two 60 second marks. One 120 degrees and one 360 degree. Which reads seconds and what does the other do? What do the 3 circles in the center do, if they don't tell time?
Edit: Ok, I get it. So as they rotate they will give you the start of the hour and you read the minutes from...
I see the upper left set on 4. The upper right is on 3 and the bottom circle is on 4 again. But I don't see how that gets me 4:02. So I am definitely not reading it correctly.
I have always thought the sweet spot is 30-32 months after you have bought the car. It takes 30 days to go in effect so you don't want to wait til the 35th month, so something just before that. Most are sold on a time and miles from purchase basis so buying earlier simply overlaps extended...
Glass is generally not covered under an automobile warranty. You auto insurance may or may not cover it. In Ca glass is not part of the auto policy coverage. In Az it is always part of the auto policy coverage. I have no idea in the other 48 states.
The other threads will explain in detail but the summary is that the BW has small cutouts for a sacrificial brake pad wear sensor that these pads don't. But the sensor is easily removed or zip tied back to the brake line.
