    Trunk insulation source

Let me know if it makes a difference, in my prior cars anytime i attempted to add sound deadening it felt like it was all placebo

    CT5-V 5BW new tire time - discussion

same, but even on my super cars ive replaced the factory cup 2s with 4s, would say about 90% of the dry grip, but actually can drive the car in wet or cold without a worry and they last significantly longer. cant go wring either way

CT5-V NW 103 throttle body issues

I did the same thing when my motor failed, apparently a super common failure.

    CT5-V Ported Blower & Drop-in Filter

Ported blower, 103MM TB and 2.3 Pulley along with longtube headers with no tune showed gains added with each mod. Done with tapout, and once the ECU was able to be tuned my car was the one used by HP tuners as a test bed. The factory ECU had no issues adapting to those mods and made it 4k miles...

CT5-V Max tire size (diameter, width) you can put on stock 5BW suspension w/no rubbing?

yup. exactly why for best results a quick clutch kick spins the car around much easier then a 3 point turn.

    Suspension question

I only tracked it with the track spec alignment. On the street the track spec for me feels like it has much sharper turn in and reduces the slight understeer it had before the alignment.

    Suspension question

To put simply, i run track alignment year round, huge difference in handling characteristics that is worth the extra tire degradation to me

    HP Increases

Its only the 5 counties closest to chicago, and all they check is the IM readiness and no CEL triggered.

CT5-V Details on the Hennessy H1000 CT5-V Blackwing Package

They have always taken care of local customers even in the prime of their scams, its what allowed them to skirt by all these years.

    HP Increases

Im in illinois, and have no idea what you are talking about, all they do is plug the obd2 in, and if no check engine light you pass, my car is catless, and all of mine and my wifes cars have been catless for over a decade, never had a single issue passing emissions catless and with a tune, any...

CT5-V Blackwing Suspension Tuning - Options, Specs, Reviews

100% agreed, almost always things get worse, maybe small tweaks like anti roll bars may help, after my car was used by HP tuners to crack the ECUs i inquired about suspension tuning and they echoed that statement as well, GM really knows what they are doing and they get better every year, they...

CT5-V Retrofitting carbon ceramic brakes to 5BW?

I did the exact same. How is the carbotech intial bite compared to hawk DTC60s? I usually put my track pads on and drive the car to the track, going from the hawks to low dust pads is such a wild experience, the brakes feel broken to me for a few weeks after until i recalibrate.

CT5-V Retrofitting carbon ceramic brakes to 5BW?

Yup. DTC-60s on track, and a low dust option for street is what i run.

P2096 Kooks Headers with green Cats

CT4-V Thinking about doing something a bit off the wall.... maybe a bit crazy. Thoughts.

Hey man if thats true i would do it. Dipping a car correctly is a lot like painting it, bumper and doors off, everything taped, $1800 would not even cover prep work anywhere i was quoted on other cars.
