If I could do it over again, I would get the MPI LId, I like the design, its the lightest and I'm assuming loudest because lack of material. Cordes intake and my ported blower really wake it up as well. Cant recommend that intake though, fitment is god awful.
I'm selling my freshly serviced by Nick Williams (updated the electronics last month). I ran this throttle body for 5-6k miles works as expected.
The throttle body has a small Nick in it on the top, due to me using a sharp pry bar (Can see in first picture) Outside of that its in great...
I'm still on orginal motor. But my motor mounts feel like they could be on there way out! i wonder if there are any aftermarket replacement ones.
Also my 2nd gear feels wonky. Almost like the shift linkage is misaligned.
Yes. Front is simple just would need iron discs, still not sure I have seen any aftermarket ones available marketed as exact fit. I do believe some of the Zl1 aftermarket disc will work. pads for the front straight forward exact same size.
The rear is where things get interesting. For starters...
Porting the blower made mine whine like crazy in combination with a LMP lid. But honestly think the DSX lid is louder. The intake I put on it really made it scream.
I personally don't mind it. I generally learn a lot in these types of videos. I believe its done to engage potential customers. Gives a good inside look/behind the scenes of the work and knowledge involved.
I have DTC 70 front and DTC 60 Rear, but I wouldn't run them with stock tires.
I also have Hawks 5.0 I have used on the street. They had more initial bite than factory.
I have recently changed to CCBS for the street.
If this is al I was doing I wouldn't do the X port. I believe you will make more torque down low without it. Equally important your throttle shouldn't close up top with out the xport.
