There are a few good deals on the 5BW autos. Early this week, a dealer on the east coast is offering around $7k discount and i also see a dealer listing their in stock vehicles with $5k discount.
I prefer getting / speccing all my vehicles without a sunroof.
Aesthetically, i prefer the cleaner roofline and dont want to deal with rattles or leaks.
Some dealer webpage might automatically list the vehicle with employee pricing as soon as it hits their inventory. They might have to remove that information manually as BWs are not eligible for any discounts.
I love that platform and ended up buying two of them (MK7 Autobahn & MK7.5 Rabbit) within a short span of time. 2019 Rabbit was a perfect trim without unwanted options and i still regret selling it.
Glad that your dealership is a forum sponsor.
I have bought several vehicles out of state due to shenanigan from nearby dealers or other scenarios. One of my latest purchase was a BMW M3 in Jan 2022 when crazy ADM was normal and build allocations were extremely scarce. I bought it from a...
I would assume their dealer webpage / listing to be their master which feeds into other applications and some dealers limit these communications to their past or present customers. But anyways, thanks for sharing the updates.
This. There might have been less flake if a separate thread was created about the sponsorship instead of posting in the MSRP thread when most of their list price is above MSRP and the comment about about SINCERE buyer leaves a sour taste with any potential buyer.
I was on a few MSRP waitlists...
Glad to see another dealer from the metro Detroit area being added to this list.
I have been following your search process across multiple threads and congrats on your acquisition.
I sold my 2022 M3 and my next vehicle will most likely be a BW.
Now a days, BMW is more of lifestyle brand and most of their M vehicles are GrandTourers. If you are looking for something more engaging and driver centric, you wouldnt be disappointed with the BW.
Its too late if you are contacting dealers based on their webpage inventory. I was on several dealer waitlists and waited for 6 months before my ZL1 order was accepted by GM. In the meantime i contacted over 30 dealers across the country and it was much harder to find a 2SS 1LE closer to my spec.
I had a 2022 G80 which was a perfect Grandtourer which was luxurious & fast. I had it for 4 months clocking 4500 odd miles and ended up selling it as it lacked the driving character & driver engagement.
I have spent time with 5BW and it been on my watch list for a while. Driver engagement is...
Having owned a G80 M3, i am active in Bimmerpost and BMW as a whole is becoming more of a lifestyle brand which is pretty evident in their products as well. In one of the polls (with over 700 responses), over 60% of the people say current G8x platform is their first M vehicle. Every time there...
This has been my understanding based on the posts in this thread.
In the past, GM baked the gas guzzler tax into the MSRP of the vehicle and the number was listed within the fuel economy section. Moving forward, it will be listed as a separate line item and MSRP will be increasing accordingly.
Dealers are beginning to list 4BW with employee discount and cash incentive.
