Yes, it makes the throttle much more responsive but it also depends on your setting. You set the level of responsiveness that you like.
The Soler is the same as the Pedal Commander (or any aftermarket throttle controller), it is a potential point of failure. In the event of a failure, I guess...
I really miss driving around in that area -- Seven Lakes Drive, Bear Mtn, the run up to West Point, road up to the fire tower off Seven Lakes -- especially this time of year! VERY Jelly!
A friend of mine in PH has a Black on brown 4BW 6MT. He got that after I let him take my 5BW for a test drive. Another guy I work with (also in PH) put in an order last month for a 5BW after I took him for a ride in my 5BW. (I'd have let him drive it but he doesn't know how to drive a manual.)...
Late to this discussion but glad to hear you & everyone else involved is OK. Super glad your insurance company is doing you right by providing you with replacement cost.
The racer in me can't help but think about all the possibilities of your totaled vehicle. I imagine the engine can be easily...
Congrats! That "blemish" on the roof looks horrible! I wouldn't have driven off the lot until they put in writing that they;d make it right. There was a member here who had similar paint issues on delivery & did not notice until after they took the vehicle home. The dealer/GM did not fix the...
I would most definitely show it to the service manager & as high up the food chain at that dealership as possible. If they decide to discipline their employees, that is up to them but I would not suggest anything of the sort to them. I would not ask for any compensation but if they are decent &...
The (center) seatbelt actually just hangs back there. It isn't long enough to attach to the spare to hold it in place. I suppose I could attach something to the spare from the belt to keep the tire from shifting on spirited drives. But it doesn't shift enough for me to care about MacGyvering...
The front wheel and tire might fit in the trunk but my rears definitely won't. That's when you lay down the backseats and put the full size tire there.
I have one sitting in my trunk. To be completely honest, I never tried it out to see if everything works/fits like it's supposed to because I relied on others' experiences. I guess I should put it to the test & put it on the car some time this week since I've got some time off coming.
The baffles have 4 different positions that allows for 4 levels of volume. They are not simply open or just closed. Dunno about how the fake noise or NC plays into it.
Sorry to hear about your trials. I have a Modern Spare that takes up a significant amount of trunk space (but the peace of mind it provides me is worth it) & AAA Premium Family plan that provides a 100 mile tow free of charge (for me & all my family members on the plan). I also have Roadside...
This happened at VIR on my C8. I paid $100 deductible & got it replaced with OEM by Safelite. I had to bring it to them bc of the PDR & other stuff ilke what we have on our BW's. No issues with the replacement windshield after 40K miles (& counting).
Redeye Hellcat.
But seriously, that's the only thing I really miss from my 2020 Charger WB Hellcat is the SC whine. We aren't able to get that kind of whine on our 5BW because GM uses a roots Eaton as opposed to a twin-screw.
