    Probably Dumb Questions

Get a Soler Throttle Controller and you'll have near infinite throttle settings. Plus you can completely disable the throttle as an anti-theft feature. I have it on my '23 and love it.

Rear taillight flash when inflating tire?

I've got a bunch of Ryobi batteries and have their tire inflator. Has a set & forget feature. Works great!

    Tire fitment

Using the OE studs like others & have not heard of any issues. If I were tracking the car, then I'd definitely use longer studs. But I'm not tracking her with AS tires. YMMV.

    Tire fitment

OE 19" wheels with OE size 275/35 Same as stock bc using the OE sized tire on OE wheel so no rubbing. I do not think that will work at all. As it is with the spacer and 305/30 on OE 19" wheels, the tolerances are super tight.

Am I crazy? Honest feedback wanted

DOH! Fixed! (Nissan/Datsun). Gotta forgive me -- I'm old & feable minded. I drive a Cadillac, after all.

    Marker Light Removal

I started with cheap eBay film but then went to the smoked LED markers. While the film held up very well, I just like the look of the LED markers over the stock ones. With the film, the stock ones were still orange when lit. The (white) LED made it look more cohesive with the rest of the...

Am I crazy? Honest feedback wanted

I used to live in the Bronx & then the Upper East Side for 20 years ('88-'08). During that time, I drove a Honda CRX Si, Datsun Sentra & then Mazda Miata -- all were manual. The Miata was heavily modified & made 260rwhp with stiffer suspension, lightweight flywheel & beefier clutch. I didn't...

Am I crazy? Honest feedback wanted

I have +45k miles on my MY23 5BW. I've enjoyed every single mile. I've taken her to the track a few times and she was an absolute hoot! Driving on back roads or cruising down the interstate are equally as enjoyable because she performs both so well. Even a couple of inches of snow (on AS tires)...

    Anybody running amsoil euro 5w40?

Any of this apply to the 5BW? I do my own oil changes & have been using Mobil1 0W-40 SuperCar religiously.

    The Blackwing Spotting Thread

Black with silver wheels on US1 northbound at 421 just north of Sanford, NC. NC tags CBM 8295. I was following you in my (wife's) silver Genesis GV80 until I exited at the 540. Couldn't really hear the exhaust so I think you had it in Stealth mode. You here?

anyone have a Z06 and BW? or trade to a Z06?

I consider the 5BW as a "forever" car. I plan on keeping it until it gets passed on to my daughter in my will.

anyone have a Z06 and BW? or trade to a Z06?

Thank you so much for this post/thread. I have a MY23 C8 2LT Stingray HTC without front lift & the Z51 & all CF options were on constraint when I ordered her. Been considering trading up to a Z06 & this thread has made me decide to do it. I've been keeping an eye on AutoTrader for a slightly...

    Best cell phone Mount

On my MY23 5BW, I have the ProClip slide-in mount. I also have this other kydex mount (but not for my phone). Both are very sturdy.

CT5-V Catalytic Converter and Brake work

Brakes: I had a bunch of track days on my 5BW & replaced the brake pads at 25k miles. KNS Brakes has many brake pad options for both front & rear. I recommend talking to them for your needs. (Disclaimer: I have no financial ties to KNS brakes other than giving them my $ for many brake parts over...
