Yep, on earlier vehicles prior to PTM, we really only had Competitive Driving Mode, which was a mode to have some fun with a safety net built in if you get too sideways. Otherwise it is Stabiltrak on or off. When the Electronic LSD (E-Diff) arrived all these PTM modes became available.
Here...
Width yes, offset not exact but close. They typically recommend 3mm spacers on the fronts.
See this fitment guide they put together.

Same here. I can use my jack pad adapter on the front pinch welds but it is easier to use the full size rubber jack pad on the rear suspension bracket since the rear pinch weld area is too tight.
In the current climate where you can get $4k-$5k in discounts off MSRP the depreciation is about right. I purchased in summer 2022 and had to pay MSRP if I wanted one. If I use $46k for the trade-in that equates to about 26% depreciation in 20 months on a base 4BW with 5400 miles. It is what...
True, I knew what I was signing up for, especially paying MSRP. I was able to get top dollar for my ZL1 on trade at the time, which helps the overall equation.
FWIW,
2022 4BW, M6, Black Raven, 5,445 miles. Only options are red brake calipers, performance steering wheel and red seat belts. MSRP $61,500.
I am getting $45k-$47k trade-in values. That is a lot of car for the money.
It is hard to believe this low mileage example is in the same price...
FWIW,
As you have experienced, Track Mode gets you access to the various PTM Modes. PTM modes use predictive slip angles to modulate power as well as using selective braking, spark retard, etc.
Competitive Driving Mode (double tap of TC button while in Sport Mode) disables Traction Control...
Don't get me wrong, I love the option and look of the carbon fiber bits. The issue is the price for what you get. I would like to see a faux CF version or just simple black plastic splitter, canards, and side skirts. I had the splitter and side skirts on my C7 Grand Sport and they looked...
Sounds about right. I saw an article a few weeks ago where a guy went to a jiffy lube for an oil change. His engine was making all kinds of noise. Pulls into the dealer and they say you have no oil drain plug installed. $14k for a new engine please.
Sounds like you got a hole shot that run. With the right conditions and a fully prepped surface you could probably repeat that time. The car has enough power, it is all about getting it to the ground.
I had a Tesla Model 3 Performance and it would run 3.2s 0-60 consistently. Instant torque...
I once got a 3.2 sec in my ZL1. I broke traction and spun the wheels to 60mph real quick. :) If you do get some wheelspin and reach 60mph on the speedo it may skew the results. You may want to get one of those dragy boxes that use GPS to get a more accurate result...
Car and Driver lists a 4.0 with the 6 speed. That is a great run but how repeatable is it for you? It sounds like a 4.0 is a pretty good benchmark for these cars. Also, did you no lift shift into 2nd gear? Not sure if all the tests were done with a nice NLS.
I think it is 74mm 14 flute. The factory filter is 15 flute. I just use one of these if needed to take it off. Hand tight only when installing the new one.
Specifically, the Tremec in the Camaro ZL1 and 5BW mated to the LT4 uses taller gearing, column E. The 4BW Tremec M6 uses the same gearing as in the Camaro SS, mated to the LT1 V8, column C. Note the torque ratings as well for each engine application...
