    Oil Changes

Good point. I did use the same AC Delco PF64. I also went back and looked at some pics I took and turns out oil pressure was the same (was my imagination).

    Oil Changes

So I changed the oil the other day, used the Supercar oil. Everything seems fine, but I could swear the oil pressure is a little higher than prior to the change. I didn't do any data logging or anything, but it certainly seems a few points higher. Probably my imagination...

    Interior Materials question

That's what I get for assuming. Didn't even look at the CT4 BW specs. Figured they would be same as the 5. Learn something every day...

    Interior Materials question

And here is the description for the BASE CT5 (No V, BW, engine upgrade, real deal base): "Jet Black with Jet Black Accents, Inteluxe Seats" Me thinks BW's base seats actually have leather seating surfaces...

    Interior Materials question

From the link: "Which vehicles will sport Inteluxe interiors? The newly named material will make its first appearance on the base-level 2022 Cadillac XT4. GM Authority confirmed that the upholstery will also be used in the base-trim versions of 2022 XT5 and XT6. And although it hasn’t been...

    Oil Changes

Excuse my slowness. Definitely a typo on the Techlink thing, but the owners manuals seems correct...

    Oil Changes

And finally, there is this (just need to keep reading). Never hurts to read it all: Can't get the pic to show in the body of the message. If you open the file it shows the oil recommendations from the owner's manual. Dexos 2 for the LT4.. No typo..

    Oil Changes

Starting to see now. That logo on the Supercar oil is not Dexos 1, it's DexosR. Slowly getting there...

    Oil Changes

Was not reading manual correctly. Caddy and Chevy call for Dexos 2 for LT4.

    Oil Changes

Info from Mobil website: Is Mobil 1 Supercar motor oil being used in any other GM engines? Only the highest performance GM engines are being factory filled with Mobil 1 Supercar motor oil. This includes the most powerful Corvette and Camaro models that feature the LT1, LT2, or LT4 engines, and...

    Oil Changes

Don't think it's a typo. You need to get this stuff. A little hard to find, but part stores can get it. A little pricey at $13/qt.

New guy from Sugar Land, TX (just outside of Houston)

Picked it up on Monday in Jackson, MS. Got out of there just before the Pearl river jumped the levees. Love it.

    Oil Changes

I will never take a car to a dealership! A free oil change isn't worth it. Changing the oil and filter on these is straightforward.

    Oil Changes

Blackwing Order Tracking - 2022 Model Year

I confess that I did pay $10k over sticker price. Not proud of that, but it sure did speed things up for me. With the $7k price increase on the '23, which I believe is the same car, didn't really feel too bad about it. Drives like a dream...

    Oil Changes

With my C7 Z06, the oil needed to be changed after the initial 500 mile break in period. I guess things have changed in the last couple of years...

Drive like a granny, now that's funny! The autos are faster than the manuals. I guess you are actually saying that you drive slower that a granny. Nothin wrong with that...
