Yes. The rattle was actually coming from a broken clip attaching the CF console cover/shifter surround to the car. The clip that was broken was forward and to the right of the shifter, below the CF. All this according to the dealership tech that fixed it under warranty.
TBH, I like the sound of my 4BW better than my Porsche, but the Porsche as a total package is a great complimentary car to the daily driven BW. The Porsche is much more of an analog, mechanical feel and sound, which is good for the enthusiast soul.
As much as I love my 4BW, the only car I would ever replace it with would be a 5BW. I suspect most 4BW owners would have gotten the 5 if they could afford it, I know I would have. Justifying one over the other is silly, they both have their (slightly different) advantages and disadvantages...
I was just about to say this. OP makes the exact same points as Jason Cammisa's review of the 5BW. Amazing car, but you only get 1, maybe 2 shifts before you are in lose-your-license territory. 4BW solves that to some extent.
33k miles on mine, still look new. I wipe them down with Meguiar's interior quick detailer about every 1-2 months. I am getting some wear on the driver's side left bolster, probably from my belt sliding against it getting in and out of the car, but that part is black, not grey.
I like to see that correct logic reigns in your house, i.e. the solution to too much Blackwing is, of course, More Blackwing.
Remember, the backseat of your Blackwing is priceless.

He's back!
As I think I mentioned earlier in the thread, I had a Lyric loaner for a few weeks when my BW was in for service and waiting for parts. I really liked it for what it was, i.e. a large, comfortable SUV. I took my family on a small road trip in it and it was great on the highway, super...
The video compares sounds in Tour and V-Mode, but V-mode isn't an exhaust setting.
To my ears the AWE exhaust sounds good in the drive-by portion, but idle straight up sounds like a fart...way worse than stock. Build quality looks impressive as always for AWE products...I had an AWE exhaust on...
That is Wave. That specific car (#17 at Spring Mountain) has already been posted in this thread twice! First by Mirza, and next by bloominguez. 👍
I also found it in the background of some of my SM photos as well.
