It was my pleasure 😜
It was amazingly stable the whole way. I figured I'd lift when it started to feel uneasy...which it never did. The only reason I let off (which I regret having to do) is b/c I was closing in on a car rather quickly. Non CF car.
Forgot to post this up here last week, but I was finally able to go get the car picked up…and drove it 600 miles home. I’m loving it so far, just need to get it in for some tint and ppf and I’ll be good for a while.
I’
Me too! I was wondering who was getting the third Blackwing that was on the truck. Mine has been sitting in the showroom, and I’m (finally) picking it up on Thursday and driving it home to Vegas.
Congrats and welcome! Which dealership did you get yours from?
@CT4-V Blackwing I only moved out there for not quite a year, so didn’t get to know too many places in the area. There was a shop in Woodland that did a great job tinting the windows on my company car, but never talked ppf with him.
I live about an hour away from the track, so if anybody is doing a weekend school let me know and I’ll come out to join you for a beer or some food, or all of the above.
Thank you, and I agree! But like you said, it won’t go the full term as I always pay extra, so that’s why I didn’t see the need to fight for a better rate (which probably wouldn’t be that significant) when it’s easier to just deal with my CU that has everything of mine already.
Called my CU earlier this week and they got me at 2.74% for 72 months, and that's good enough for me.
I thought it was funny that they didn't even care what kind of car it was...just asked me how much money I wanted and approved it. I'm starting to think I should've asked for more 🤣
Here’s a pre-delivery picture of 46-029 since I won’t be able to get up there to take delivery for a couple weeks. It’ll be nice and cozy in the showroom until then.
Sorry to hear that! Every time I talk to the dealer I always end with, "make sure they don't put the front plate bracket on!" Now I'm just hoping it sticks.
Great, thanks for the info! I'll be checking into them within the next couple weeks...once I can get the car home. I also heard about Xpel Las Vegas, which I'll be checking out as well.
Like everybody is saying it is the dealership who charged the money and it is them that will refund it. However, if they refuse to do so you can contact GM (last case scenario) and they can pull the money from the dealership and give it back to you.
I had it on my V2 and various other cars along the way and wouldn't own a vehicle without it...if it is an option. The only upkeep I ever did was wiped it down with a damp microfiber and some rubbing alcohol a couple times a year and it always brought it back to like new.
