Official Apex Wheels Thread | Forged and Flow Formed wheels for your Cadillac Blackwing

I used thick raised vinyl stickers from ebay as well. Has been perfect for a year and a half. No lifting, can't tell its a sticker. When they lift, I will buy another set. This Alibaba set is less than a third the price I paid for ebay ones. There are more options of colors and sizes though...

Official Apex Wheels Thread | Forged and Flow Formed wheels for your Cadillac Blackwing

It was the same on the ATS/ATS-V. Hey, at least it opened the door to endless selection of BMW M3 wheels....In a much narrower width.

The bolt pattern is different. The wheels are not interchangeable.

    Manual trans owners--both 4 and 5

Bite the bullet and have the transmission replaced. I had this exact behavior in my ATS-V and it is infuriating. Replacing the fluid and bleeding the clutch did help, but fundamentally, there is an issue with the tranny. My CT4BW is flawless and is such a joy to operate. Don't live with and...

PSA - watch those front splitters

For these complaining about the splitter, Atsv/Ctsv splitter dragged on everything as it had two low protrusuions. It would drag on slopes that I thought would surely clear. This one is much better. I think they learned a lesson.

    Potentially Selling CT5 BW

You don't want to rent out your car on Turo for obvious reasons. I am not sure why anyone would think its a great idea. Rebuilt title and cars with bad history, such as multiple accidents, lemon buybacks etc....are ideal for that sort of thing. Renting you clean car on Turo is a good way to turn...

    Potentially Selling CT5 BW

Yup. In wouldnt worry too much about where to list it. A buyer looking for a car like this would be checking EVERY available source. Autotrader for sure. Facebook marketplace as well, but that could be a pain in the ass to deal with. Is it still available? 10 times a day with no followup.

    Potentially Selling CT5 BW

Keep in mind the buyer fee at these sites. For a 100k car, its the max 5% or $5,000 they charge. So the buyer factors that in.

    Potentially Selling CT5 BW

I get to know the owner a bit by email and on the phone, build some trust. Check records on the car: CARFAX, warranty status, etc. Get detailed photos and a rundown of any known issues. The cars I buy are relatively new and under warranty. I test drive them when I fly in to pick them up with...

4BW aftermarket wheel upgrade to 19” questions

The wheels will poke out a bit less in the front and a bit more in the back. They will work fine.

    Potentially Selling CT5 BW

For some additional perspective: I ran the car through Carnana to see what they would pay and established a fair sell/buy price several thousand dollars above that.

    Potentially Selling CT5 BW

Well, how much to list it for depends how quickly you want to sell it. If not in a hurry, I would list it at the high of the KBB private party value and see what the interest is. I bought my car from someone asking the same question in THIS forum and we worked out a deal that worked for both of...

    CT5BW Blown Motor Registry

Having an X5 xdrive 40i in the family, I would never get into that BMW trap again. The tire depth balance requirements and that transfer case....... Man, never again. sdrive all the way.

    4BW Rear Differential Fluid

I dont think most people do it after breakin. It depends on how you use the car. Track driving, sure that would be a good idea. I replaced it at 20k on my atsv and it looked completely fine. Not planning to replace it before whatever the manual calls for in my 4bw.
