    IMO, yes. It's a process of elimination. As was stated upthread, the oil has to be going somewhere. Either leaking externally or, being burned internally and ultimately coming out of the exhaust.

    Yes, 1st hand experience. Let's be honest tho, it's really only in a u-turn situation that it's noticeable.

    Don't even think about going to the dealer for these unless you're immune to severe sticker shock. I found them by the gross for what they're worth.

    Never, you have to take the initiative. You have to register within the 1st year of ownership or, hope for an approved extension when requested.

    There has been mention of Dexos but, no mention of the possibility of the denial of a warranty claim when using a non specified / non Dexos oil.

    Except the OEM ones retail for ~$18 a piece! I found aftermarket ones on Amazon for ~$1 a piece that I posted about somewhere on here.
