Blackwing-spec PS4Ss heat cycle out long before wearing out?

20K out of rears is impressive. I’ve had PS4S on 3 prior rwd sports cars and none lasted past 15K miles. No track driving. I am religious about replacing them once they hit the wear bars tho. 5K miles on the BW so we’ll see how they hold up.

    2026 allocation

Incompetency of most Cadillac dealers treating a BW order likes it’s an XT6 (no offense- good car) is the unfortunate truth. I have a thread here somewhere of my experience trying to order a ‘25. Thank goodness I found my CPO ‘24 and hopped off the 🐐 rodeo before too long. If I was going to...

    Am I crazy?

Importing a euro E36 with the proper motor would be great fun, or, pick up an E36 here and swap the motor with an S54.

6MT folks- Anyone experience this after spirited driving?

This sounds almost exactly what I’m experiencing but it’s there all the time. Did you end up replacing the throw out bearing and it fixed the issue?

6MT folks- Anyone experience this after spirited driving?

Thanks. Mine is more like a vibration/shudder that was not there prior and not a chatter noise as one would experience similar when you upgrade your flywheel to a lighter one.

6MT folks- Anyone experience this after spirited driving?

Got it. My issue is persistent, regardless of temps.

CT5-V The Eagle has landed (finally)

Congrats but the real question is how did you manage to get a ‘25 built to order at dealer invoice??

6MT folks- Anyone experience this after spirited driving?

Interesting. Would it still do it once cooled down?

6MT folks- Anyone experience this after spirited driving?

Did some spirited driving through mountain roads last weekend and since, my car developed a shudder/vibration upon takeoff from a standstill. If I exaggerate the throttle input a bit while coming off the clutch, its not as apparent but if you take off like normal, the car shudders/vibrates. Only...

    Any SV905 photos on a 5BW yet?

CT5-V Blackwing: Slight Yaw/Rotation under hard throttle

Also experienced the rear end float recently. 3rd gear, onramp on to highway, not WOT but moderate throttle input and the rear end was dancing around a bit. Any other feedback from folks who either ordered the SPL arms and/or had an alignment done?

CT5-V What don't you like about your CT5-V Blackwing?

I leave auto rev matching off during "spirited" driving as I depress the brake pedal far enough for smooth heel/toe action but during all other driving scenarios I've grown to enjoy the auto feature for effortless downshifts. This is the first manual car I've owned that has this feature and I...

CT5-V What don't you like about your CT5-V Blackwing?

Its the size of the fuel tank that was a surprise to me but I've gotten used to it. 20 or even 21 gallons would've been ideal. My C63S AMG had a larger fuel tank than the BW. The turning radius still gets me. I do less 3 point maneuvers in my wife's Tahoe :). All to say this car freaking...

What were your must have options?

Non-negotiable must haves for me were manual transmission, CF1 package and the non-base seats. Manual for obvious reasons and the CF1 package because the car looks too plain without it imo. Non-base seats for enhanced bolstering and looks. Otherwise the car comes well equipped before adding...

    CT5-V What wheels are these??

Nice! Would look killer on my radiant red bw.

    Buying a pre-owned high MSRP 2024 CT5VBW or a new 2025 model?

I was having the same dilemma and placed an order for a ‘25. As I was on the goat rodeo with CF delays, a used ‘24 popped up that was highly equipped and I jumped on it. The ‘25 build was $114K MSRP and the ‘24 I bought was $130K MSRP when new. I paid much less than that. No regrets.

    CT5-V 5BW new tire time - discussion

Just like most stated, difficult to beat the specific PS4S tire. The latest Pzero PZ5 is supposed to be a phenomenal tire in the same category but I’m unable to find them in CT5 BW OEM sizes just yet.
