I put painters tape under the spoiler, placed it on the trunk lid and marked where the factory trunk holes were. Then I drilled holes big enough for the bolts heads slightly off to the side of the marked location and cut/slotted a hole over to them only the diameter/width of the bolt...

The spoiler I installed also was only to be held on with the tape. That was a no go for me so I mounted 4 stainless bolts on the underside, epoxied them in and bolted it down using factory holes. Been solid with no issues, and eventually I'll get a better spoiler.

I'm not sure if this is relevant or if you want to add this info to the registry, but I just came across the engine/trans from the 2023 CT4-V BW #41-497 on ebay. (6,607 miles) As well as a ton of parts from 2022 CT4V BW 41-1104. (8000 miles) So it would seem those two cars are no longer with us.

My '04 GTO had surprisingly roomy back seats for a 2dr car. More room than my '98 Caddy STS. In 2015 I had my mother get an ATS sedan and room/size was her main complaint, back seat and trunk. When it got totaled in a hit and run while parked, I then found her a '17 CTS. The ATS vs CTS size...

Good to hear it's fixed. My old '05 ctsv filled up the spare tire well with water because the sunroof drains got pulled into the trunk instead of going out through the rear wheel wells.
