Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

SynisterAZ, Thanks. I'll be calling onstar to cancel in the next few days.

Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

Do we know if these driving reports are still being sent even without an active onstar subscription? Is the app still usable to check smart driver status, like to see if they re-enroll me? I currently have the "essentials" plan but I want to cancel it soon. I'm just worried that once I...

Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

Yup, mine was back on too after specifically checking a while back. However my car hadn't been driven since early Dec. It's back off for now....

    120th annie shifter

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I am under the impression that the shifter logos on the 120th anniversary car are all unique, just as the door sill plates. Meaning vin xxxx1910 has a shifter emblem with the Cadillac logo from 1910, vin xxxx2001 will have the logo from 2001, etc. I don't...

Any Canadian members want to help me out?

I need a tool that only seems to be available at Canadian Tire. Anyone willing to pick one up and ship it to me here in the US? I tried buying it online from their website but can't find out how to ship it internationally. It's 14.99(CAD i assume). The tool is a "Maximum #058-7207-2", it's a...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

I saw those, good score. There's also red rear seatbelts listed. I was looking for random 5bw used parts.

Not a fan of stickers but I have plate frames to choose from!

lol, never really expected to see that name on a caddy forum. I listened to DK a lot back in the late 90s/2000s. Still do now and then. I'd be more surprised if someone mentioned MOD or SOD.

What did you all drive back in the day?

First car was a 1973 dodge coronet(318 auto) 4dr w/56k miles. That was in 1996. Second car was a 1988 trans am gta in '97. My 5bw is now around car number 105.

Need help with CT5V BW vibration

I'm in that area but my car is away for the winter. Probably until April at least, but if you are still interested after then, I'm sure we could figure something out.

Loaded 4BWs don't make sense to me

I just remembered the ho-jo chocolate ice cream with the little chunks/pieces of ice in it.

New Vehicle Transport for CT5-V BW

    Not gonna lie... I'm impressed.

    What did you cross shop?

Personally I didn't really cross shop my 5bw. I had previous Cadillacs and other Gm cars. One car being a V1 CTS-V. I knew I wanted v8, manual, backseat, and a new car warranty. I liked the C8 vettes but no manual and no backseat wouldn't work for me. Next up was a zl1 camaro. I had a '14...

2nd oil change with 1700 miles driven on 5BW, 13% on the "maintenance indicator"

Yup, it figures time into it. Mines due for its second oil change at only about 3800 miles. I did it last april. My mothers '17 cts wants an oil change yearly too, and that just hit 20k miles.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Very nice. I saw them as an option but hadn't heard of anyone giving it a try yet. I am leaning towards them currently.

What's wrong with the forum format?

Rob's at it again... Remember the original Order Tracking thread? lol j/k Rob. 😁

    Panama City, FL checking in.

    I think ct5bw pre-production used a 6 instead of 8, and pre-production ct4bws used a 2 instead of 4.

    Steering wheel numbers?

I believe cars built around mid December 2022 and later got the badge from the factory. That's around when the first round of shipments went out to 2022 owners who requested the blackwing badge.

More Aggressive CT5-V Blackwing Carbon Front Splitter

Looks great! I'm just curious... but would you ever consider making an oem version of the front splitter as well? I know the main reason you didn't originally was because the cost would be right around that of the actual oem one, so no real benefit. However, now due to gm supply issues and the...
