I did install the charge pipes but not the bypass valves. I needed to order new clamps for the bypass valves. They are similar to a V-band style clamp. The charge pipes did seem to tame the excess burbles and pops that the catless down pipe added. I will try to add the bypass valves this week
Sounds great. I did this on my CT4V. I did a Y from each pipe. One side of the Y goes to a muffler and the other side is straight piped to the valve. Sounds great for a six banger and no codes🤷🏼♂️
There will be a slight gain in air flow but it’s really about the turbo noise. These cars lack in the sound area. The catless downpipes bring out the turbo noise a bit but these charge pipes eliminate the resonators on the stock charge pipes and these bypass valves will vent 50% of the boost to...
My guess is if Tapout tuned the car the trans was part of the tune to some degree. I had my CT4 Blackwing tuned by tapout and I noticed the shifts right away
I Ran drag radials on my truck for many years for the street just to keep it civil but I had no problem blowing those off from a 70 roll. Like I stated before, once you get north of 500-600 hp you will not have traction on the street. You need to learn your cars quirks and drive accordingly.
