I did install the charge pipes but not the bypass valves. I needed to order new clamps for the bypass valves. They are similar to a V-band style clamp. The charge pipes did seem to tame the excess burbles and pops that the catless down pipe added. I will try to add the bypass valves this week

Sounds great. I did this on my CT4V. I did a Y from each pipe. One side of the Y goes to a muffler and the other side is straight piped to the valve. Sounds great for a six banger and no codes🤷🏼‍♂️

There will be a slight gain in air flow but it’s really about the turbo noise. These cars lack in the sound area. The catless downpipes bring out the turbo noise a bit but these charge pipes eliminate the resonators on the stock charge pipes and these bypass valves will vent 50% of the boost to...

I think Tapout has some front splitters for the CT5 in stock. They are pretty good on shipping times. And you get some candy🤷🏼‍♂️

My guess is if Tapout tuned the car the trans was part of the tune to some degree. I had my CT4 Blackwing tuned by tapout and I noticed the shifts right away

Yeah…. The CT4 Blackwing has two converters. Mine didn’t have rainbows on them 🤷🏼‍♂️ but they are gone now🤣

Have you checked for any saved codes for misfires? Was it throwing the code random or possibly after spirited driving?

Hell no!! I got caught is a storm once and I learned why you don’t run drag radials in the rain. It was a scary ride to say the least 🤣🤣

I do agree with you. I had a 20 gallon fuel cell located behind the axle, relocated battery as well as a four link to help in the traction department.

I Ran drag radials on my truck for many years for the street just to keep it civil but I had no problem blowing those off from a 70 roll. Like I stated before, once you get north of 500-600 hp you will not have traction on the street. You need to learn your cars quirks and drive accordingly.

There is no such thing as traction when you are on the street. Anything north of 500-600hp you will be spinning to some degree🤷🏼‍♂️

I think the 2650 and a tune will get you 100hp easy

I agree with blkout. The magnuson 2650 is far more efficient than the whipple products and should partner well with the 427

What interior parts did you wrap? Any pics?

I had my side skirts, antenna, mirrors and top of diffuser all wrapped.
