Newbie question: ride quality diff in 2025 5BW

These two jokers defy credulity. Pure gold non sequitur commentary.

Newbie question: ride quality diff in 2025 5BW

The policy was posted online for everyone to see. Why would I call them and argue about it? I’m sure that’s what you would do, so stop projecting. Ridiculous, the layers of false logic have build a shit house. There is no post where I said I talked to anyone at that dealership. You would know...

Newbie question: ride quality diff in 2025 5BW

So uneducated and jumping to false conclusions. Try reading the posts before jumping in with trash talk. I never had any communication with the Sewell dealership, home of the self-described King. They posted on this very forum in early 2022 that they would not sell a 5BW to anyone out of state...

Newbie question: ride quality diff in 2025 5BW

Not a feeling, a fact. Nice try with the insults Mr. Nutz. I wrongly assumed Canadians were happy socialists. You know, people post all over the forum about negative experiences with dealerships. Do you try to insult everybody that does that?

What driving mode do yall use for heavy rain on public streets?

I’ve been in rain and snow with my 5BW. I don’t do anything different with modes, I’m just easy on the right pedal. The only mode that isn’t track is snow-ice. I haven’t encountered enough weather to use that. The issue in Arizona is not the rain itself. We get flash floods and massive potholes...

    CT5-V Blackwing Extended Warranty Pricing

That may be about to change according to the dealership I bought my warranty from. It’s best to check into this 1year before the B2B expires.

Wanted WTB CT5 Blackwing, Manual only, Michigan.

This is setting a record for the longest car search in modern times.

Annnnnd, we're back. Massive Lifter Knock in my 5BW

I don’t care what people do on their own time. Just don’t want them flying airplanes or working on my Blackwing while intoxicated.

Annnnnd, we're back. Massive Lifter Knock in my 5BW

Hard to tell what they put in there at a dealership. The tech that changes oil knows less about cars than anybody you randomly pick off the street. Probably a big weed smoker besides.

New 2026 CT5 Blackwing manual, daily driver with 2 kids, Northern California

Of course, but some of us are very good lefty shifters.

    For Sale [Deleted]

There is a solution to that. Would you like to trade for a boat that you won’t have time to sail? It will look great in your yard.

For Sale Used CT5-V Blackwing for sale in Atlanta

It’s been around way before Covid and it’s called stupidity pricing. They’re setting a hook for a buyer with more money than brains. I won’t do business with people that play that game now or ever.

Engine Break In - 500 mi or 1500 mi

I believe the main purpose to prevent a pressure buildup. On my Jeep I have vent hoses on my axles and yes they can eject gear oil, but only at first after a fluid change.

Engine Break In - 500 mi or 1500 mi

It appears to be an issue with ATF (not higher viscosity like the HP-MTF) as it expands as it heats up and blows out the vent. It's fine for the transmission, but who wants a mess under their car. I think I going to try straight Redline MTL. It sits right between OEM and HP-MTF. This is one of...

Engine Break In - 500 mi or 1500 mi

That article states to fill to the top, but that is not correct for the TR6060. The level should be 1/8" below the fill plug (or top off and remove about 8oz)

Newbie question: ride quality diff in 2025 5BW

That’s a business choice they made. Whether it be related to customer loyalty or purely financial is irrelevant. But generally all business decisions come down to maximizing profits. A counterpoint is that most of the profit made by dealerships is parts and service. So even if a local buyer in...

[Now Available] AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

Headers do quite a bit for sound change and usually in a good way. I would like to hear about your impressions when you get them on.

[Now Available] AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

That is usually the case with most things. The real answer is we forget what it was like before (in this case better looking). There would be a more appropriate fascia style for round tips. Naturally, my aesthetic, but that's all the matters on my car. Part of the issue with the 5BW exhaust...
