    CT5-V Brake Duct Info

I must be a moron. "Install the rear lower control arm cooling deflectors" but in the picture its labeled "Front Lower Control Arm Deflector" Is this not the piece i think it is? I must be over complicating this. It can't possibly this is difficult.

Hopefully the dealership didn't remove them. Should the car come with a hard copy of the Owners Manual or is it digital only now? ... Might have to avoid this dealer in the future...

    CT5-V Brake Duct Info

I guess I'm removing them this weekend. The dealership is 5+ hours away, I'm not driving back there. Is there another protector or shroud that goes in its place? If so, i'm sure they tossed it. Looking at the directions posted on the previous page, I'm assuming not.

I messaged the dealership; they responded that its an accessory? I thought it was included... like the license plate holder.

Back the original question; does no one have a sample picture of the ducts and/or the part number (which i assume is on a sticker on the bag)?

It can end up directing rocks and road debris into the brakes and wheels. With CCBs in particular, that kind of hit can chip or crack a rotor.

    CT5-V Brake Duct Info

I just picked up a new 5BW and didn't think to look in the trunk for the brake ducts which are supposed to be applied before track days. Before I contact the dealer to inquire, I'd like to have some more information. Does anyone have pictures of the ducts in the trunk and/or a part number I...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

I washed the car and it has been a little while since the last washing. The wheel coating doesn't seem to prevent the brake dust from collecting, but it makes to SO easy to clean off. In the attached video, I'd hit all the wheels with a PH-neutral foam, let it dwell just long enough to coat...

Special Edition Red CT4BW on Northbound 275 in Milford Ohio. I was on the phone and getting off at the next exit so I didn't get to run with you

I just did this! Its a lot of work. but I'd never tried jacking up the car before. That took awhile to figure out :-/ I wish I'd seen this video prior to selecting Gtechniq C5. We'll see how it holds up.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

The pictures just won't turn out. Really not much to see in the pictures. In person they have a much more rich or deep quality to them. Here's hoping they clean up easily as that's what really prompted the venture.

    Ceramics

I know the car doesn't have any temp sensors in the brakes and uses an algorithm to approximate it. If you're not tracking the car, I assume its a non-issue. If you do run the car hard at the track, changing the pad compound might make the calculations done by the braking module incorrect...

CT5-V Blackwing: Slight Yaw/Rotation under hard throttle

My 4BW does this as well. Does someone make a similar piece for the 4?

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

I've been eyeing the JB4. Still on the fence as actual ECU tuning is now possible. I'd be curious about your experiance

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

What did you use? I used Gtechniq C5. I've since seen some information about using paint coatings on rims. The next time i get it out of the garage, I'll grab some pictures!
