California would become the first state to require new vehicles be equipped with speed governors — technology that limits how fast they can be driven — under legislation by San Francisco...
With the unexpected lack of rain, I popped over to Auto Vino to see who'd show up today. I met @kl_ct4 with a Watkins Glen CT4BW. Hope to see more of you out there! (3rd Sunday, every month)
I experimented with this a little bit today. Which on rain-wet roads made for a little squirelliness. I suppose there are slow ways to get to high RPM, but I don't need to know about those, do I?
In first gear (sport mode) I get the green ring at 4000RPM and yellow ring at 5000. In second gear...
Happy New Year, everybody!
Had a nice drive this morning out to overlook the fog covering the San Andreas Fault
(from 35 & 92) ...

In case anyone is wondering, as I was, what's the impact of matte PPF on the appearance of Maverick Noir Frost paint - here's a look in bright sunlight at the inside of the rear driver's side doorframe where the wrap (XPEL Stealth) ends.
Closer-up here:
Thank you!
It's Maverick Noir Frost (Sebring IMSA Edition) with XPEL Stealth PPF. Here's one more (in a regular parking spot: my driveway! Don't want to violate the thread intentions!) and I'm going to post a closeup in the Maverick Noir Frost thread showing the (minimal) effect of the PPF in a...
Friday light at work, so I got a better space than usual. And we've even got Old Glory there in the background, even here in northern California.
There's a story about that flag. When our multi-billion dollar corporation (you can see the brand name back there too) built this $200 million...
