Just curious - are many people using the factory nav?? I'm surprised there's demand for the static outdated database vs something like Waze or Google Maps.

I wasn't aware of that one. Fortunately they replaced the pump and all has been well.

It's not a big deal. I've done it at the track in between sessions. You'll get a notice of an impending shutdown and you can defeat it extending your time easily and in a typical car wash you won't go into neutral until you go into the car wash so unless you're going into a mile long car wash...
