CT5 Blackwing 1,200 miles dealership visit!

Additionally, our CAD pricing just keeps heading north. $88K in 2022, $111K in 2026... my config is $6K more pretax this year

CT5 Blackwing 1,200 miles dealership visit!

Indeed, my car would be around $195 CAD. This is also why we only get about 5% of total allocations so grab one if you can. In 10 years almost half of them will be totaled

Newbie question: ride quality diff in 2025 5BW

You mustve missed somethig in my reply... the PP is better every where... on the track or simply going to the grocery store. The car simply performs and behaves better under all conditions, especially on power. There is no increase in harshness. If you can afford it, get it!

Newbie question: ride quality diff in 2025 5BW

Because a stiffer and more precise suspension/subframe matters in a car that puts down so much torque to the rear wheels. What has been done in the PP translates to better performance and stability at all times, especially when putting the power down or upgrading to 800, 900, 1000hp+

Cadillac’s Sales Surge Amid EV Push

How is this good news for Blackwings? The reality is that large combustion engines are on their way out. I personally want production to end today

    Auto vs. Manual

Im glad that allocations are being wasted on auto cars, just means that these will be even rarer in 10 years. No one will want an auto.

Ct5-V Blackwing precision pkg rear aluminum toe links

Update, GM is shipping the links.

Ct5-V Blackwing precision pkg rear aluminum toe links

As soon as I have them in hand I can measure, although, it appears like the links sit above the axle, so it must be shorter than standard to accomodate additional neg camber.

Ct5-V Blackwing precision pkg rear aluminum toe links

Theyre shorter, allowing for more max neg camber in the rear

Im sure they didnt, and neither did I honestly

Ct5-V Blackwing precision pkg rear aluminum toe links

Appreciate the photo, no links in the trunk so the Dealer opened a case and has no doubts about them getting a set for me. I guess the Dealer can choose to charge you for the install, mine is not going to and also including new bolts.

Ct5-V Blackwing precision pkg rear aluminum toe links

I understand that all new cars with the precision pack are supposed to come with these new toe links that are Dealer installed during PDI. My Dealer is indicating that they did not come with the car, does anyone have a photo of these links that I can show them?

    2026 allocation

Youre trying to rationalize this, you really cant. Just the same way that the Canadian website wont even show the 2026 order guide or build sheet until we're 3/4 through the order year. That doesnt make sense either but it was done in 25 and 23. Looking at the website in Jan 25 you wouldnt...

    2026 allocation

Lets keep in mind that theres some turmoil in the GM system right now, some production is being shuttered. Wouldnt surprise me if the Blackwing allocations were drastically reduced or stopped entirely for 26 and even 27.

    2026 allocation

People still dont understand, it doesnt matter when 2026 orders "may" be taken, all that matters is when and how your dealer will receive an allocation, whether theyll actually be aware of timelines and whether they will actually offer you, specifically, the opportunity to fill that allocation...
