    Alignment

Yes, I bought the ATS-V camber plates. Needing the longer bolts is what I've heard. I also recently got sway bars, Swift Spec R springs and SPL toe links. Hopefully everything goes in next week. Lastly I've ordered 18x10's with 15mm offset and 18x11's with 45mm offset. I'm going with 295's...

Neebs - so what have you done for camber? I've been driving this summer with 2.7 front and 1.7 rear and it feels fine/nice for daily driving.

    CT4-V CT4BW JB4 Review on 91 Oct with Datalog

You can just barely feel the difference of each level, but you can. I've been on map 3 for several months and 3 track days - running great. 93 octane day to day, with some 100 race gas added making about 95 octane for track days. Decided not to do the BCM, as I don't want to ask more of the...

    PDR operation

Is there a control somewhere to turn off the sound recording of the PDR and only record video? I ask because I know someone whose PDR is only recording video. Has anybody else encountered this?

    Wanted CT4-V Blackwing wheels

Thanks for the offer, but over the past 6 months I ended up going in another direction. I recently ordered 18x10 and 18x11 wheels so I can go with wider tires.

    For anyone using wheel spacers...

What wheels setup did you go with such that your needing spacers?

    CT4 Blackwing at Sonoma

Have you done brake pads yet? Go with a full race on front(non-street) and an aggressive street pad for the back. They make a big difference when trying to push back your braking points. Supposedly your not supposed to use race pads on the street, but I'm finding them to be fine for daily...

    For anyone using wheel spacers...

Use Chevy truck studs. They're about 12mm longer than OEM and work great.

    5BW Factory Build delays - I have a theory

I'm sure somebody would trade with you to get their hands on the blue stuff.

    5BW Factory Build delays - I have a theory

They did the same thing in 2023 with the Track Editions. The 99 Watkins Glen cars, then the 99 Road Atlanta cars, and then the 99 Sebring cars were all built in their own batches. Production and CF was prioritized for those special edition cars. All the Le Monstre cars and Petite Pataud cars...

    Monticello Motor Club - Sept 1st, 2025

MassTuning has a track day event at Monticello Motorclub Sept 1st, as in 3 weeks from today - $815 It just was announced last night that this event was actually happening and registration opened. Have you ever seen a track day held there before? It would be great to see a bunch of Blackwings...

    Tap out Tuning order question

I might unlock and have the ECU tuned after my warranty expires. Not willing to give up the warranty this early on in the cars life.

    Tap out Tuning order question

Level #1 on the JB4 does nothing, you are running stock. Level #2 requires 91 octane Level #3 requires 93 octane Level #4 requires E85, or 93 octane or better. If you add the airbox lid with larger MAF tubes you'll get a Level #5 custom tune to adjust things for that extra airflow. Order a 54...

Struggling to find aftermarket wheels I really like. Am I alone?

I'd like to put together a "group buy" to negotiate a better price on Forgeline wheels. Anybody else interested in them? They are what John Heinricy is using on his CT4 BW. Here's a link to the 2023 runoffs. Other than wheels, tires, brake pads and sway bars, that's a stock car.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Just as the JB4 fools the computer into making more power, the larger MAF tubes do as well. If you have both the JB4 and the airbox lid with larger MAF tubes you'll get a custom tune for the JB4 going one step farther than what it comes programed for.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Well, I didn't do it to it yet, but I've done it for it. Just ordered the Refined Performance sway bars and Swift Spec-R springs. That should increase the speed everywhere on the track and take a few seconds off lap times.

Lowering Springs for Precision Package CT5-V Blackwing

It would be nice if Cadillac came out with a Precision Package for the CT4 BW as well. Since they haven't, I'll assemble my own. I just ordered the sway bars and Swift Spec-R springs from Refined Performance. The Refined Performance springs are 30% stiffer than OEM, while the Precision...
