[Now Available] AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

Someone laid it out in another thread: Asking for rectangular tips like OEM would require additional expensive tooling and each tip would have to be a different shape making that cost even more. Add to this that there just aren't that many Blackwings and even fewer people who would be up for an...

    The Blackwing Spotting Thread

Yeah if someone leaves a QR on my car it's going straight to the trash. I'd recommended writing out the URL instead.

    How to jump a battery

OK maybe you shouldn't be offering to connect things to your car or you need to re-read the manual a few more times. But in case you really really really want to do it: red cable goes to #7 (after you remove the red plastic cover), and black goes to #9. Connections happen at the end of lines 7...

    How to jump a battery

Per the manual, 9 points at the negative terminal you are meant to use for jump starts and trickle charging. On the 2025 CT4 manual, this is at pages 298-299.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

    What's wrong with this picture?

If you were in what looks like a hard left-hand turn, why is the G meter indicating the opposite? Did you loose traction and are trying to correct from an understeer?

    Oil Consumption on 4BW

And just to add, during the 1500 mi break in period the manual says to check the oil at every gas fill up. Consumption may be higher during break in and also if you do HPDE.

    Oil Consumption on 4BW

Yes there's a low oil level warning, but you should hopefully catch the problem before then. The manual recommendation is physically checking every 400 mi and before long trips.

    Need Brake Advice on 4v

You can attempt to burnish your brakes per the manual. Brake fade will happen so stopping distances will increase. 1. From a stop, accelerate as rapidly as possible without activating traction control to a speed of 100 km/h (60 mph). 2. Using the G-Force Gauge in the HUD display, use enough...

    Bad brake pad wear

To me, it looks like a radial J-scoop chamfer used to reduce vibration and noise: https://www.wagnerbrake.com/technical/technical-tips/chamfers.html

    CT4-V CT4-V Blackwing Cosmetic Mods

Consider swapping out the side marker with something like what Savage sells. The smoked option would likely look best but both are improvements. There's options on Amazon as well. Install is a bit of a pain but you should only have to do it once.
