    CT5-V Time to mod...

No extra cooling is necessary with the Magnuson 2650, at least with the stock 90mm pulley. If you really start to push the blower up into the 18-20+ psi range, it wouldn't hurt to have more cooling capacity. What you stated is basically what I'm doing to get it as close to 700whp without...

    CT5-V Time to mod...

Whipple blowers aren't reliable, and they just aren't as efficient as the Magnuson 2650. End of story really. The Blackwing is very capable of making 1300hp, but I agree, not sure why you would want two cars making that level of power. 700whp is a good number on these cars for street tires as...

    It's almost done now.

    CT5-V Time to mod...

You're giving up a lot of power staying with the stock tune especially if you increase the boost level which the stock Magnuson 2650 pulley will do. There's at least 30-40whp more to be gained from tuning it with a 2650. Without a tune you're looking at maybe 60whp, with a tune around 100whp...

    Ride differences 24 vs 25

Real simple, the base comfort seats are softer and feel better for longer drives but don't hold you in place as well if you're driving aggressively though turns due to smaller bolsters in the hips and torso, The sport diamond pattern (quilted) seats are more firm but have better side bolstering...

    Ride differences 24 vs 25

Its a moot point to compare unless you can verify the same tire pressure, same suspension mode, and same driving conditions. Even a car that has sat for a week or two without being driven will ride different than a car that gets driven every day. My 2024 and my wife's 2025 is as close of a...

    Ride differences 24 vs 25

No changes in suspension in any of the Blackwing years. I own a 2024 CT5 BW and my wife has a 2025 CT5 BW, they both ride the same.

Kooks or Stainless Works Headers for My Corsa Extreme?

I would go with Kooks or ARH, both are top notch. I've heard too many bad things about Stainless Works products on multiple platforms. ARH doesn't show any headers on their website for the CT5-V BW, but they do have them. My car is currently at Vengeance Racing being modified and ARH was one of...

Draggy vs In Car Performance Recorder

I would expect them to be high initially, but as stated, they dropped over time and were well below average levels with an oiled cotton filter. Keep in mind, I do live in a city and not a high dusty environment like a desert, or dirt roads.

Draggy vs In Car Performance Recorder

Oiled cotton filters are standard on some performance vehicles from the factory. OEMs wouldn't do that if they were concerned about excessive wear. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying across 200k miles, the paper filter vehicle will likely have less wear but most people never keep their vehicles...

    CT4 BW ---> CT5 BW

Well, you can get over a car not being your exact spec, I mean, how often do you get the luxury of buying a low production vehicle in the exact spec you want without ordering it new and typically paying a stupid markup? That being said, my car has red seat belts and I absolutely despise red seat...

Draggy vs In Car Performance Recorder

Shouldn't be an issue unless you live on a dirt road, in the desert, or plan to keep your car for 200k miles. The filtration of oiled cotton are more than sufficient for 98% of the population.

    catalyst inefficiency codes, 100% stock

More than I expected but honestly, catalytic converters or O2 sensors should not go bad that quickly unless there was a bad run of cats during some point in the years these cars were manufactured.
  20. B

    catalyst inefficiency codes, 100% stock

How many miles are on the car? It's really hard to imagine the cats are bad. I think the O2s sensors are setup too aggressive and causing them to throw codes when they shouldn't. A brand new set of cats and O2 sensors may solve the issue for a short period of time but I suspect it will come back...
