Spring Mountain Driving School. How come I was Never informed of this by ANYONE!?

Wife and I went back at the end of this May, had a great time! The new karting track is AWESOME and now it's supposed to be part of the curriculum, I recommended that and they said, yep, starting next class, it is! The more track time, the better!! Love the food / service at the clubhouse...

Thank you!! Now down 113 pounds, still some more to go! Went back to the desert over the 4th, went rappelling / did a Via Ferrata tour in a very tight slot canyon, was AWESOME! To keep it V-related - we drove the Escalade V from DFW to Page, AZ, made pretty good time, around 2,500 miles total!

It's a Spring Mountain V Academy bottle with first name and last initial on it, from a label maker. The wife likes it, great for making protein shakes, liquid IV drinks etc. Nice little bottle. We used it for our road trip after the class. Oh, and to the post about Karting...it was a BLAST...

Did the class last week and wanted to comment on the heat - to me - it felt GREAT!! It was a high of 103 on the second day and probably around that the first day (at least at the end of class - went karting in the full heat - LOVED it!!). I wore very lightweight hiking / fishing clothes (T-shirt...

Got this email from Motor1.com today, an interesting read.... The Mind-Blowing Tech of the Corvette’s Michelin All-Season Tires As an enthusiast, you might think that all-season tires aren’t worth a lick. Michelin proves otherwise. — Chris Perkins...

Insulated garage with an AC window unit with heat. I’ll just set it to keep it 45 and above if needed. If I’m out there working I’ll keep it above 60. I’ve got a few small space heaters if needed. Not a fan of using those unless I’m in the garage though. I’ve got a remote temp gage that displays...

    CT5-V 5BW new tire time - discussion

Extreme performance summer tires typically don’t fare well in freezing temperatures, they get brittle and can crack. I’ve seen it firsthand with racing slicks that came from the Chicago warehouse versus Georgia when I started out the race season in Florida in January - without even being on the...

Yeah, the Cup 2's in the wet / cold...definitely not the best! I live in Texas so I don't have to worry about that too much. I purposely put the Cup 2's on my most recent Z06, but it didn't get out near enough. I'll probably go back with the 4's when it's time on the BW.

When it’s new shoes time I’ll go back with Michelin. Probably OEM. Big fan of Michelin. I LOVE the Cup 2 tires, have had them on previous Z06 vettes.

I used to be a member of the largest Corvette club in the country: the Lone Star Corvette Club, around 1,000 members. Most of the membership was about enjoying show n shines, cars n coffee, pie runs and even some nice road trips to various events in the region / across the country. A smaller...

I’ve had multiple vettes at the same time - gotta keep momma happy too!! My Z06 and Ducati were in the garage and my wife’s “beater” (as I called it, anything but 😂) Grand Sport was in the driveway….That first last long so she found the Garage Mahal House where we are now! We rotate through cars...

For the question of "why have multiple BW?" Why not? If you can stroke it, go for it! I think I'm at the 7 or 8th Corvette so far...and that's actually pretty low compared to some of my other gearhead buddies LOL!!! Corvette-less right this second but that could change any minute! Let's leave...

Signed up for the May 29-30 class. Looking forward to the HEAT!! I live in Texas and actually turned the HEAT and fireplace ON this past weekend LOL!!! Some folks don't do well with the heat, that's true. I've had students that could only last in a car for barely 20 minutes during a Summer track...

    Spring Mountain Impressions

And they do have other cars / programs. Radicals being one. Almost bought one way back. Yeah, I couldn’t / wouldn’t see them offering another level of BW class.
