I have the same issue, I think the weird, unusually shallow foot well has something to do with this problem. The footwell also causes difficulty exiting the vehicle.

The puck adapter probably works in the rear but I doubt the front.

You shouldn't have to modify the plastic underneath a sixty thousand dollar car so you don't damage it while doing something as simple as jacking up the vehicle. Maybe GM could hire a competent engineer to correct this ? Just a thought.

Well the secret to having no problems with a dumb design is to have a better design, the manufacturer should be the one to fix that, not the consumer.

Have you tried jacking up a car on a vertical pinch weld ? Metal bending and distorting under the weight of the car. This is the only vehicle I've had with this dumb design.

Thanks GM for this absolutely stupid design on the jackpoints, I'm no engineer but I could have come up with something far better than this !

My Dealer told me it's on the production schedule for this week, so maybe first week of Sept they may have it in. I went with the manual trans because I love rowing my own gears and I went with a low optioned setup to keep costs down.

I don't think it's a matter of GM unable to implement it, they've already done it on other models. They've finally realized it causes problems and people don't want it. Thanks for the info (y)

Does the twin turbo V-6 in the CT4-V Blackwing have AFM or DFM (cylinder deactivation) ?

Waiting on my 2026 CT4-V Blackwing to be built, can't wait to see it !
