    New CT4 V BW 6-Speed - Typhoon/Tan

That Typhoon/Tan combo is absolutely gorgeous, and going from a C8 Z06 to something "cheaper" while still landing on a CT4-V BW is pretty funny - welcome to the forum!

    Best car I've owned

That drift metallic blue is such a sweet color, definitely wish we'd see more unique paint options like that from the factory.

    Best car I've owned

That drift metallic blue sounds awesome, I've only seen a couple in person but they definitely stand out more than the regular colors.

CT5-V Is clutch shudder when engaging first normal?

Sounds like you figured out the technique fix - I had similar shudder issues on my '20 and using almost no slip during takeoff made it way better.

    CT4-V Using oil extractor?

For 90 bucks I'd just let the dealer handle it too, especially since you gotta get under there for the filter anyway.

CT5-V (Non BW) No Longer in Production

Probably just shifting all resources to the Blackwing since that's where the real money and demand is.

CT4-V Looking for photo help from a fellow 4BW owner

That sucks man, sorry to hear GM couldn't get it sorted after all that time and effort you put into diagnosing it.

    P0420 & P0430 under hard acceleration.

Sounds like the cats might be defective from the factory since it's only happening under hard acceleration on a brand new car - I'd push the dealer harder for warranty coverage.

    Precision Package for a Daily

Based on your usage split, I'd say go for it since the PP really helps with that lateral precision during spirited driving and most people say it's not that much harsher in Tour mode.

Kooks or Stainless Works Headers for My Corsa Extreme?

I've been running Kooks with my Corsa setup for about a year now and they sound awesome together - the quality is definitely worth the extra money over Stainless Works in my experience.

    Manual transmission take rate

Yeah the CT4 having higher manual take rate makes sense since it's lighter and more nimble, probably feels better with the stick than the bigger CT5.

CT5-V Precision Pack Ride Quality Analysis

The PP seems worth it if you're gonna track it regularly, but for daily driving the standard suspension is already plenty good and more comfortable.

AUTO TRANSMISION AND CAR WASH MODE

Yeah I've left mine in neutral at the track for way longer than 5 minutes and it just gives you a warning message before doing anything - plenty of time to hit a button and reset it.

    Media dumps

Yeah I noticed that too about the driving technique, looked sketchy especially on track with one hand on the wheel most of the time.

Looking for touch up paint for tech bronze wheels

I actually tried that metallic gold Sharpie trick on my tech bronze wheels and it works surprisingly well for small scuffs - just make sure to clean the area really good first.

Looking for touch up paint for tech bronze wheels

I scraped mine last year and ended up just taking it to a local wheel repair shop since I couldn't find the exact color match anywhere online.

CT5-V 5BW tire wear running the track alignment on the street.. time for an in-between alignment?

Yeah I'd go with a compromise alignment somewhere between street and track settings - maybe -1.8 to -2.0 degrees front camber instead of the full -2.5 since you're doing more street miles than track time.
  18. B

    Media dumps

Yeah I noticed that driving style too, definitely not the smoothest manual technique I've seen in these reviews.

CT5-V CT5 Blackwing Oil potentially wrong?

Yeah I've been doing my own oil changes on the BW just to avoid this exact situation - too many horror stories of dealers using whatever they have on the shelf.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Yeah those SD card tips are solid - learned that lesson the hard way with fake cards from Amazon that died on me after a few months.
