What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Cadillac responded quickly to the ticket. They were expecting to hear back next week. The parts are already on order. I'm getting a new condenser and tensioner belt. Hopefully that takes care of it.

    V series Academy

I just finished mowing my lawn and it is 91 out now. That was hot. I would have trouble in a warm climate.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

For anyone keeping tabs on my air conditioning. This morning's trip to Cadillac didn't fix it. The brand new tensioner belt they installed earlier this week was shredded within about 20 miles on the highway with normal use on my way home. They have now opened a case with Cadillac to proceed...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Picked up the car at the dealer this morning. AC was working fine when I got it. By the time I got home 30 miles later it was not. They replaced the drive belt tensioner which was missing. I'll be heading back to the dealer soon. The oil was changed successfully. At least that is...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

I will be in an xt5 loaner for a few days. The air conditioning belt had blown off. They need to order a new one which will be a few days. Hopefully that clears the issue..

    New from Chicagoland

Heritage is very good. It is just the allocation game from here if you can't find one on a dealer lot with the options that you are looking for.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

I took it out for lunch in 90 degree weather. First time it had been out in days. Air conditioning decided all on its own that it wasn't necessary. The car was wrong. I need to call Cadillac for a service appointment. I'm pushing 1300 miles already. I will use it as the excuse to get the...

    Considering Carbon Ceramic Brakes

I was able to spend a little time on it last night. It was the right rear brake pad. It was stuck to the rotor I think. I was able to drive back and forwards in front of my house a few times and apply the brakes firmly. The noise went away after several starts and stops. I'll have to keep...

    Considering Carbon Ceramic Brakes

Last night I went to take out my bw and it made a horrible grinding and rubbing sound at less than 5 mph. I backed out of the driveway, passed my house and then stopped because the grinding noise was so loud. I just backed up and put it in the garage. I was on the way to my kids birthday...

Throttle house looking for a CT4 V blackwing in toronto

I did the exact same thing. Bought one sight unseen and without a test drive. It was the Car and Driver article that sold me. And I haven't regretted the decision even once.
