This was one of the best How To write-ups I've seen yet!
Are the valve actuator's only opening one outlet on each side, or do they open valves in all 4 outlets?
I think you'd like the Continental Extreme Contact 02's way more - they're noticeably cheaper than the Michelin's, not as cheap as Hankooks - but MUCH better. I'd say get the General's or possibly even Nitto over Hankook (someone else said they're probably the 4th best - they may be right)
I've been using Continental DWS 06 in winter in NJ on my CT4V BW. The sizes did not auto fill on TireRack's website for some reason, but if you individually input the tire size, they were available. I did not check the 5-BW size but I thought I saw others say they were using them.
I have Continental DWS-06 all seasons for winter, which when relatively new, are fairly decent in light snow, and are excellent in rain. Oddly, the TireRack search engine does not show them, but if you just look up that tire, they make both sizes for the CT4-V Blackwing. I'd love to get some...
this is really strange, it contradicts itself, saying both, there is a minimum allowable thickness "AFTER REFINISH" (implying a refinish is OK so long as it is think enough), and "Do NOT refinish...". So which one we following?
I thought the rules said not to be a jerk to others & not to call people names (paraphrasing), is that not true, am I allowed to jump to conclusions and call people names over a photo I see? I’m also curious where all these tracks are that you can hit 140+, does one even exist?
