A couple of weeks ago I went to take out my bw. It was lightly sprinkling out. I didn't even get out of my driveway. I pulled it right back in and took my other car. I didn't want to get the black car dirty and have to wash it in the cold weather.

I stalled mine the night I bought it. I wound up having to do a 3 point turn. That is challenging by itself in a 5BW with the huge turning radius, but when you add an unfamiliar new clutch that only has a couple dozen shifts up until that point......

My kids all learned on an old Honda Odyssey. It definitely couldn't handle the curbs the same as the jeep or pickup. One of my kids jumped a curb and lightly hit a tree without causing damage to the tree. However it messed up the wheels and alignment. It had to go into the shop after that...

I believe it is called sharing the road. Let the faster people pass and then you can move back over. When my kids were taking drivers ed they were all told to avoid being a traffic block by staying in the left lane and allow faster cars to pass.

Agreed. If you are in the left lane with a line of traffic behind you and nobody in front of you - you NEED to move over.

I have a small 2 car garage with limited space on each side. If I back in I can almost get almost next to the wall and still be able to get out the drivers door without crawling over the stick shift and passengers seat. All about egress as you get older...

That is the same reason I had my installed in the trunk. I back it and put it all the way against the wall to give more space for the snowblower on the other side. I put on the car cover and it keeps the trunk lid mostly closed for the winter.

Dealers choice. Some are under the hood and some of us have a quick connect attached to the battery in the trunk.

My AC crapped out and had to be replaced. Is it coincidental that the motor on one of my house air conditioners also had to also be replaced within a couple of months?

Mine is a toy as well. I expect to be covering it and turning off insurance in the next month or so. Only 2000 miles so far in 12 months of ownership. No plans on selling and I'm hoping my kids someday will want to keep it. It replaced my 535i with a 6mt. Long live the manual - I don't plan...

Touring 95%+ I play around with the other 5% settings. I only have 2000 miles on it and at least 300-400 are going back and forth to Cadillac.

Out of curiosity how did she decide to go from a small XT4 all the way up to an Escalade? That is a big size difference.

Do you have the order number from your dealer yet? From there it is going to the cadillac.com website and using the chatbot in the bottom right and typing order status.

I've heard that Patrick had difficulty in getting allocations. I'm not sure if that has changed recently, but definitely worth a follow-up with your salesperson.
