I ordered in August and was there yesterday to pick-up mine which shows as delivered.. But alas, mine was not there, though the infrared one still was.
It's just speculation that it arrived on the truck due to vinView and 5000 status. However, it is possible that the carrier reported it as...
Car is not at the dealer. vinView showed it made a circle of the parking lot and then headed back down the freeway..
The dealer website no longer lists the car as 'In Transit', so I called a random sales person asking if the car is available.
She said the order was sold. I asked if it was on...
It's definitely not at the dealer.. We walked the lot, back lot, and bays. When he brought it up on vinView, the car showed as in the lot but also showed breadcrumbs continuing back onto the freeway and headed south.
My salesperson is off today, so maybe will have more info tomorrow.
The...
Be warned. The goat rodeo continues. I showed up at the dealer today only to learn that the driver didn't unload my car and it continues on down through southern utah.. I hope they can get a hold of that carrier soon!
Does anybody have access to vinView and willing tell me where the car is...

With any track time the CCBs will not last the life of the car.
I would swap out with steelies for any track days.

The goats are currently in custody of my BW, but I am sure it's not 10k bad.. And while the carbons don't dust, they do squeak.. I was always ashamed pulling up to a stop light in a 911 with squeaky breaks.. =/
I had ceramics on my 911 turbo and opted for steelies on the BW. While the CC are cool, the replacement cost is absurd.. And if you're planning on tracking the car [ or braking hard often ], then I'd definitely recommend the standard brakes, not the CC.
10k buys a lot of pads, rotors, fluids...
