I think they fixed the audio/video sync issue for exports somewhat in the Android version of the app. It's at least close. In the Windows version the audio/video sync ends up several seconds off by the end of a track session, making it unusable.
Another issue I noticed after my first track...
Cosworth released a Windows variant of AliveDrive. Super limited functionality right now. I did a quick export of a couple outings and it seems the overlay still has a mistiming as compared to the audio/video just like Android which is pretty annoying...
I checked SPS tonight and there was an update available! Android 14, UQBM, similar to some of the other cars that have gotten Surround Vision Recorder but alas, it's still not there. The APK is on the filesystem but it didn't get installed.
The only discernable difference I'm seeing is the...
In their infinite wisdom this was an intentional change across a bunch of GM 2026 MY vehicles.

Some updates on the current PDR state of affairs...
Cosworth Pi Toolbox 14 "lite" (free) doesn't currently support importing PDR data.
Pi Toolbox 14 Plus ($6.59/month but you can subscribe/cancel any time) does support 2025+ PDR files. @poor-sha's pre-built workspace is great to get started...
I just counted from the AliveDrive app and got exactly 12 laps (counting out/in) in each of the 4 sessions so 48 laps total. Essentially a session less 😢.
It was nice meeting you! I enjoyed hanging out with you and the other guys. Your lap times were super impressive with no track experience. The instructor only did a 1:21 in my car.
I had a bit of a different experience with the track instruction and left somewhat frustrated. I definitely picked...
How necessary are the extra brake cooling bits for track days with the 5BW with steel brakes? They seem like a bit of a chore to install and I can't imagine swapping back and forth before/after track days.
Does anyone have experience tracking their car without them? Or leaving them on for...
The infotainment is primarily developed by Google (a software company). GM just takes it and integrates with the vehicles. Just like how Samsung does with Android on phones. Seems to work ok for that market.
For my 26, the latest software available according to GM SPS2 hooked up to my car doesn't have any new updates available and the one installed doesn't have this enabled. I'm guessing that Escalade gets these updates first then they flow down to others. I'll keep checking SPS to see if anything...
Perhaps I'm just a dummy but I often see the mirror turn signal indicators flash and think it's the blind spot alert and then think "oh shit there's a car there" and then realize it's just my blinker.
Would you be able to upload the USB content somewhere so I could download and compare to mine? I'm really curious if the data is the exact same, which I'm pretty sure it is. Or I uploaded mine here and you could do a binary compare against mine. 7.42 GB file on MEGA
If they are exactly the...
Cosworth says there's updates to the apps in the works to support PDR 2.5 in the 2025+ PDR and a beta now that lets you open it in Pi Toolbox.
