    Track rats rejoice!

FYI, the September 27th version of the CT5 printbook changes the description of V8V to include Q2Y, 19" pilot sport cup 2 R tires.

    2025 CT5 & CT5-V Blackwing Order Support Guide

I remember reading that you need to be careful when removing/installing wheels because CCB rotors are very easy to break.

It's my understanding that they last > 100K miles. According to this thread they have both minimum thickness and minimum weight stamped on the rotors.

    ct4 v blackwing rear wing

I'm pretty sure the tape is 3M VHB, it's what car makers have been using to affix emblems on cars for decades.

I believe most of the 2025 pricing came from a post that points here: Cochran Cadillac The V8V pricing came from Dustin's post: 2025 CT5 & CT5-V Blackwing Order Support Guide (Look in the "available packages" image.)

    Track rats rejoice!

The config I'm looking at comes in at $138620 before sales/guzzler tax and destination. Subtracting off the V8V option it's still $18K more than the same configuration in 2022 (I couldn't find option pricing for 2021). I'm solidly in the "no moon roof" camp. I'll take a run at this. As I...

    Track rats rejoice!

I just noticed that the August 16th, 2024 version of the order guide lists weights for the 5BW as 4123 (M6) and 4142 (A10).

    KEY FOB COLOR PEELING/CHIPPING OFF

Very likely identical to the one I posted earlier: Glad to hear that it fits!

That's different from what I said: I see two paths: First someone who doesn't have the option and wants to upgrade. Second, someone who wants to save money by getting the car with the option and then upgrading it with parts. In both of these cases, parts would be swapped.

    Track rats rejoice!

The news.cadillac.com announcement lists the manual as 4302 and the automatic as 4275. Which seems backwards to me since the caranddriver.com article on the 2025 says the 2022 (M6) was 4092 and 4130 (A10). If the ~4300 numbers are correct you have to wonder where all the extra weight comes from.

    Track rats rejoice!

Thanks to Dustin, we now have V8V pricing: $18000 (which includes the J57 carbon ceramic brakes). I've seen some posts say "it's just bushings and calibration" which didn't match what I've read so I thought I'd dig in a bit. The media release says: Key Precision Package features include...

CT4-V Replacement Key Fob - Colors and Part Numbers

I was looking at this the other day and here are the part numbers I identified (note that the online dealer witesites don't include many details in the descriptions; for each part number I found I searched images to determine the color and button variant): 85541922 Remote Control Door Lock...

Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

My read of the order guide (Aug 16 version) doesn't show any transmission requirement for the AQJ seats.

Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

I recently reevaluated and my new plan is to do exactly that; get the seats, buy the exterior parts over the counter, and some combo of install myself or get a body shop to do it. But who knows, maybe 2025 is the model year where GM/Cadillac get their act together and I'll be able to order CF as...
