Agree with the lease idea.
I guess its natural for the Saudi's to diversify away from oil. According to Google's AI answer, once EVs take over, about 2/3 of their revenue is gone.
Choice seems obvious.
However, it still looks like an awfully expensive gamble. They just lost billions - with a 'B' - for all of 2024, with total revenue of only $800M. The press releases ignore that huge figure, and tout their $6B of total liquidity, but its hard to see how that will last...
I had the same electrical outlet added for my 11KW charger. It'll easily charge 100 KWH reserve overnight. My was as easy as possible though. Power comes to the house from the outside wall of the garage where I needed the charger. Installation was around $1,000 (plus price of the charger).
I...
Skeletons are very cool. There are budget, real automatic skeleton's out there as well.

I knew fake watches must exist, but this is the first time I've seen carbon copy fakes being openly sold as fakes. They even claim to be based in the USA.
Other than pure trust, how do you detect these ?
Anyone ever...
I have driven a Tesla S, Tesla 3, Chevy Bolt, and just started driving a Cadillac Lyriq.
I would never, ever buy an EV. All my vehicles are fast & loud - my 5BW, Ducati and Harley all have manual transmissions and straight pipes. I'd never have it any other way.
However, if you are limited to...
I'm used to ~150 mile range on my bikes, but stopping for gas is such a mild inconvenience. A trivial price to pay for enjoying a great ride or drive.
With the bikes, gassing up before the day trip is ritual. Gassing up again when you get there is just another part of it.
Like you said - it...
I am not a Waze user either, but it does seem to be fully responsible for creating distracted drivers.
People have to use the app on their phone to report these things, right ?
How many do you think pull over to make such a report ?
Polarized shades. I can't understand how they ever got popular. They are completely useless inside of a motor vehicle. They're even useless when I'm on my bike looking at the outside of other people's vehicle windows. I can see this as an obstacle to enjoying the HUD.
Am I the only one who sees...
I had a buddy who used to race the Silver State Classic every year. Its insane how competitive it is.
The top 5 in each class are separated by milliseconds. And they're all just milliseconds away from the perfect target time.
I believe they have open classes where its an actual race - fastest...
That is a mystery I've never solved - why pay extra for gold that looks just like cheaper steel models ?
Same for platinum, although even bigger $$$ gap I presume.
I hate to point out the obvious, but this thread is our testament to how great SM is:

Range is not something you hear about non-EVs. :)
The small gas tank and huge turning radius are the only things that annoy me about this great car.
My 5 is atrocious in the city. It will only go about 200 miles on a tank. But on a road trip i can do 300 or more. Amazing difference.
I would...
Loads of questions like that. A search should bring them up.
I wouldn't worry. The Chevy LS V8 is one of the best selling engines of all time. There will always be parts for it.
Someone has already replaced their magnaride struts and shocks, and they were much cheaper than I expected. That's...
Unfortunately, I failed to instill my values to the kids. Nobody wants my cars or bikes, and I can't even get them to wear a nice watch. Guns.........perhaps we'll see...........
$$$ value ? Once EVs make gasoline no longer ubiquitously available, I think ICE toys will be relegated to museum...
Congratulations !!
I have been fascinated with mechanical watches since I was a kid. It is interesting to find an entire sub-culture on the internet for whatever hobby you can think of - and that you had no idea such a sub-culture existed.
There are lots of places you can find people buying...
I drive fast, but I have admittedly been lucky.
Long ago I used radar detectors, but they usually just confirmed that I had just been nabbed. I gave up on them a very long time ago.
Here in Austin, the local PD had quite a run on me for years. The trick there was to take the case to a jury...
