Another note I can't put my car in Competitive Driving Mode, I don't think it's available.

Bringing back an old thread ...going to put my car on the dyno ....I am thinking pressing and holding the TC button for 5 secs will turn everything off? In Sport mode I just can't seem to put the car in competition mode with a quick double tap. What's the most suitable mode for dyno?

Yes saw that, precision package 1.5s quicker vs the standard... I thought the other video had new lap time comparing the cars mentioned.

Maybe I should have waited for the VIR sedan time...2025 5V BW with precision package?

Yeah I stopped watching after a couple of mins ...nothing interesting or insightful there ...I thought they were going to do lap times.

The regular V and the Blackwing are not even on the same planet...I see a lot of FB pages which combine regular Vs and BWs and I don't really want to read about regular Vs. Not trying to be a Blackwing elitist but these are totally different cars.

Lots of folks here with second or third cars including vintage cars....there is a whole thread on it. Plus plenty of discussions about other car makes and models besides GM

Concerning some of these failures are happening at more than $15k miles....I thought most of the failures happened within 3k miles or so

Met up with @jwolf99 at a local car meet last Sunday. Of course only two Blackwings there (there were a couple of Gen 2 Vs though).

Daily my 22 5BW 6 speed here on Long Island...it will be 3 years old next week...currently 15,400 miles. It's also my winter driver with the Vredestein square setup. I do swap the BW with my relatively high mileage (73k) 997.2 Turbo S just to change things up...even though it's a PDK it's a...

I was just curious what overlap it would have with the factory warranty power train warranty. I know the original b2b factory warranty needs to be in place to get the extended warranty but what does the 6/72 factory power train warranty cover? Just engine I guess?

I was looking at extended warranty options through McMulkin but isn't there a power train warranty from the factory good for 6 years/72k miles?

I doubt anyone got this resolved ...I had to go through Cadillac to get the TSB work done since the dealer could not replicate it. It's interesting yours started at 20k miles...almost everyone had this issue from the beginning. If this is happening consistently and can be replicated then take it...

Hmmm that is interesting ...same symptoms that everyone was describing?
