When I take my foot off the gas and coast to reduce my speed sometimes the instant MPG readout will say 99mpg but that doesn’t mean my car gets 99mpg

Wow, a major critic. Not saying what I posted was scientific. I've made this same trip to the same destination many times, it does suggest a decently valid #. It wasn't 10 miles, you jumped to conclusions. It was 5 miles on a two lane with ups and downs and 10 or 11 miles on I10 mostly...

I live about 15 miles west of San Antonio. Took the 4BW into SA the other day. Overall the trip is downhill most of the way but by no means steeply downhill. I got 35.8 mpg! First 5 miles are two lane some ups as well as downs. Running on cruise control set at 71 on I10 for 10 miles. Don

With your suggestion and the Owner's Manual, I got the display I wanted. A Christmas gift. Thanks, Don

    Mileage

I have a 2023 4 BW IMSA Road Atlanta Edition (Don't think that matters to the question at hand). I did have mileage running a constant readout. It disappeared, don't know what I did to cause that. Can't find a specific reference to this issue in the owner's manual. Any suggestions? Thanks, Don

    Motorcycles, anyone?

I was working for Third Fleet out of NAS Pt Mugu, CA, 82-85. I had a Suzuki GS650 as my daily driver. Going out the gate on a beautiful day in the left lane of two. A pickup was stopped af a feeder road. Thought I had eye cotact with him. Boy was I wrong. He pulled out and came right at me...

    Motorcycles, anyone?

Right now, there's lots of nasty construction going from RT46 into Bandera. Lack of attention could be extremely costly/dangerous. I've used the shooting range at Bandera for 12 yrs. It's up for sale now, supposedly will remain a range but suspect significantly higher prices. A couple I know...

    Motorcycles, anyone?

How do you tolerate being in the liberal capital of TX? Insane ideas like defunding the police? Good God, I can hear Harleys for well over a mile from my home in the Hill Country 6 mi west of Boerne. Don

    HP Increases

Not necessarily but I will not do anything that would void the warranty. Additionally, I paid for an extended warranty. A dealership might take an unsympathetic position regarding a repair. Of course I'd like more power just like I'd like more money as long as the cost vs benefit ratio is...

    Motorcycles, anyone?

Many years ago, i saw an arrticle about a crazy cycle driver in Los Angeles. Lunatic decided to drive away from a police officer and ran away riding an FJ1200 which was at the time one of the fastest bikes. Guy was running 120mph right through red lights, barely clearing an accident with a...

    Oiled Air Filters

Am I correct in the opinion that oiled fabric air filters show very little gain on a chassis dyno and very little in real world driiving? Don
