I searched but didn’t find any threads where this was discussed - at least with anyone that has some experience with the install. These have been available for a bit now, surely there is someone who’s done it without the JB4 and can comment?

Is there anyone with a 4BW that has installed JUST the larger MAF tubes from TapOut? Meaning, without a JB4 tuner as well. They mention on their site that some cars get a DTC on cold starts with the larger MAF tubes. Just wondering how prevalent that is. Not sure I want to do the whole tuner...

21,000 miles on mine w no track use but a lot of spirited driving. Replacing them with pilot sport all seasons this week. I want something quieter and that will last a bit longer as I dd my blackwing.

I bought my ‘23 4BW at Bayway, and did not have a great experience either. Their add-on packages are ludicrous, they badly swirled my paint, and they weren’t willing to do much once the car was out of their possession. Pissed me off so much that I have never gone back for service and will not...

Here’s exactly what I bought. It’s a VERY clean install, and I’m still extremely happy with it. Loctite the screws that hold the mount on.

I have a Uniden R7 and have never heard the laser detector go off a single time. I don’t think they run laser in Texas - good mix of Ka and K band in my neck of the woods.

I had mine in for warranty replacement of both tail lights and flaking dash trim. They took care of this at the same time, no big deal.

I did add these puddle lights, and I think they are awesome. Also bought some BW valve stem caps and BW cup holder pucks. Savage Cadillac is now one of my all time favorite sites.

I just put these on my car tonight — I like the look, and you are correct about the orientation! They are easy to rotate, and I think this looks great especially walking into a dark garage.
