@ngoni ...I thought so, I'm not sure. I thought I also read it might have something to do with either auto shut off or cylinder deactivation, but I'm not 100% on that
@CB34 ....there are two issues with the 6.2L in the trucks and suv's. One is lower and one is with the main IIRC. Those engines are facing NHTSA investigation from around 2018 to 2024 IIRC. Somewhere around 800K vehicles. GM claims the issues are "fixed" for 2025, but won't say what they did...
@TruckeeTaurus.....Yeah, I'd say that low price is a regional thing or the proverbial "gas war". We're still floating around $3.15 for regular. Down about 5 cents in the last week or so. CA is and has always been much higher.
@BBenning .......that's a great way to start with 500 miles. Hope this works out and seems like you're getting great help from GM.
Congrats on your 5, and welcome fellow Arizonaian
@JoeSoCal .......IDK, I believe it has CF1 and CF2, which would be nice to have. I'd have to do more research, but low miles, color you want. Just saying
OMG!!! I'm flashing back! The Latin Casino! Cherry Hill. Much too young to have been "in" the Latin. Conveniently across the highway from the Garden State Race Track! I grew up in Pennsauken. Next we'll be talking about the Nellie Bly
Most VA State Troopers are pretty cool....or at least when I lived there they were. If you were respectful they normally let you go....except one certain OLD trooper whose probably retired by now out around Front Royal. He'd write you for anything.
AZ is another story. Seems here, the DPS...
Not for nothing, but Auto Check isn't that great. Spend a few bucks and get a Carfax. I've also used "BadVin". They usually have some additional details. At this price point, and for this type of car, it's worth the homework. Sounds more like a pass to me. Always makes me wonder when someone...
THIS^^^....exactly! I argued with my dealer too. Actually, it was a new service advisor (there's always new service advisors). He later apologized and said I was right. Check the part numbers before you leave, just be aware that part numbers do change.
Not to add fuel to the fire, but when 25% tariffs were floated, they were talking about $5000 added to the cost of a car. That was postponed, and now it's on the steel. Best guesses now is about $1000 addition cost for you. Only time will tell.
For how much I love mine, I agree. I see MSRP's of $130+ and I just say no. That's why I wanted to get mine in 2022. The way the prices have gone up, to me, it's a tough sell at ~$140K+
