Any How To Help on Replacing our Batteries?

The 8 year old Odyssey battery in my Jeep was $250 back then, now it’s $430. Could be replacing it very soon with the same. If Odyssey makes a battery for my blackwing, I’m going to go with that.

Any How To Help on Replacing our Batteries?

I’m surprised $100 batteries still exist in today’s environment.

    Is this normal Cadillac Service?

You don’t need to take it to a Cadillac dealer, can be any GM dealer.

    Fuse Panel Access

This is a 5BW? I use a funnel with a 1” opening and pour oil as fast as it comes out of the bottle. The funnel is used more like a splash guard as I direct the oil without hitting the funnel edges much.

That’s what he tells the wife, meanwhile he’s finished off a 6-pack in the garage.

    Fuse Panel Access

I have a lot of different equipment and tools purchased over many decades. I have many tools that I use once in a blue moon. But when I need that tool there’s no substitute for it. Making a fuse tap is very quick and all the supplies and tools are right at my fingertips. I can make a fuse tap...

5BW - How long before brand new PS4S tires finally have some bite?

I get the slight rear wander pretty regularly going from 1st into 2nd with anything more than about 1/2 throttle. But it doesn’t surprise me because some city streets are pretty greasy. It helps to pre-warm the tires by laying rubber in 1st before hand.

CT5-V 6 speed and rear diff. fluid recommendations brand etc.

what's wrong with the OE fluid for the rear diff. There is a clutch pack and I would be concerned about blowing up my warranty with aftermarket. For the tranny HP-MFT works.

Next Gen ICE CT5 Officially Confirmed!!!!

I love this engine. For a luxury street cruiser it does everything I need with plenty of low end grunt. Wouldn’t change a thing, other than fix the blowing up aspect.

5BW - How long before brand new PS4S tires finally have some bite?

That doesn’t sound right in general. If the road is oily and in a low gear it is possible, but would take at least 1/2 throttle I would think. Either way if PTM is off the car won’t lose control of the rear.

    5BW Lane Change Resistance... 🤔

I use it on the highway when I’m eating donuts, drinking coffee, and smoking a cigar at the same time.

    Fuse Panel Access

I just used an X-Acto type knife to cut the plastic off the end and solder on a lead. I know it works in the same way I know a lamp works in my house, because all my electronics power on expected.

    Fuse Panel Access

These two empty positions can be use for ACC. I use one for my radar detector and laser jammer and the other for the dashcam system I installed on Saturday. Made my own fuse tap. There is normally a second blue fuse to the right of the red circles but it is removed for this photo.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

On Saturday I installed the Vueroid S1 Infinite front and rear dashcam system along with a BlackboxMyCar PowerCell 8 battery. I have been waiting for a long time for this camera to be released. - A new offering from a Korean company. The build quality seems much better than the Viofo camera I...

    CT5-V Mini tubbing

Who would run drag tires on the street? And on the street I got nothing to prove, so winning with speed is irrelevant to me. I win with smiles and fun. For the strip there are much better cars than a Blackwing anyway, for less outlay.

Red Battery Warning Light After Trickle Charging

I would not consider buying a charger (not a maintainer) with less than 15A for a car and 30A for a heavy use application like a Jeep with a winch. https://www.odysseybattery.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/odyssey-installation-operation-and-maintenance-manual.pdf
